且所語所宣、不在智之婉言、惟在神與能之闡明、

吾不以私智婉言、惟以聖神之良能傳道、

且我講論宣傳、非以人智之婉言而辯、乃以聖神之大能而證、

蓋予之談吐及論道、非恃人智之巧言妙語、惟恃神力之明徵、

My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power,

I didn’t preach my message with clever and compelling words. Instead, my preaching showed the Holy Spirit’s power.

and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,

And my message and my preaching were very plain. Rather than using clever and persuasive speeches, I relied only on the power of the Holy Spirit.

因为神的国不在于话语，而在于权能。

要知道，基督差派我，不是为了施洗，而是为了传福音——并不用智慧的话语，免得基督的十字架落了空。

因为我们的福音传到你们那里，不仅是藉着话语，也是藉着能力、圣灵和充分的确信。你们知道，为了你们的缘故，我们在你们中间是怎样为人的。

藉着神迹、奇事的能力和圣灵的能力所完成的事。结果我从耶路撒冷及其周围一带直到伊利里亚，把基督的福音都传遍了。

并且我们传讲这些事，不是用人的智慧所教导的话语，而是用圣灵所教导的话语，用属灵的来对比属灵的。

弟兄们，我以前到你们那里去的时候，并没有用高言大智对你们传讲神的奥秘，

要知道，我们从前让你们明白我们主耶稣基督的大能和他来临的事，并不是随从巧言编造的故事，相反，我们是亲眼见过他威荣的人。

他们说虚妄夸大的话，以肉体的欲望和好色的事来引诱人；这些被引诱的人好不容易才逃脱那些生活在迷途中的人；

他们蒙了启示，知道所服事的这一切，不是为自己，而是为你们。如今，这些事藉着从天上派来的圣灵，通过那些向你们传福音的人，传讲给了你们；对于这些事，天使们也渴望能详细察看。

因为神的整个计划，我没有一样因畏缩而不传讲给你们。

因为这样的人不是服事我们的主基督，而是服事自己的私欲。他们用花言巧语，欺骗单纯人的心。

我现在到底是要得人的信任，还是要得神的信任呢？难道我是想讨人的喜悦吗？如果我仍然讨人的喜悦，我就不是基督的奴仆了。

我说这话，是免得有人用花言巧语欺骗你们。

他来了，要在关于罪、关于义、关于审判的事上，使世界知罪。关于罪，是因为世界不信我；关于义，是因为我到父那里去，而你们不再看到我了；关于审判，是因为世界的那掌权者已经被定罪了。“我还有很多事要告诉你们，可是你们现在担当不了，不过当那位真理的灵来了，他就会引导你们进入一切真理。那时，他不会凭着自己说话，只把所听到的说出来，并且把那些就要来的事传讲给你们。他将荣耀我，因为他将从我领受，并传讲给你们。父所拥有的一切，都是我的。所以我说，圣灵将从我领受，并传讲给你们。

那女人用许多巧言勾引他，用油滑的嘴唇引诱他。

阿格里帕对保罗说：“你用几句话就要说服我成为基督徒吗？”

到处搬弄是非的，泄露秘密；口无遮拦的人，你不可与他结交。
