我们接受的不是这世界的灵，而是上帝的圣灵，使我们可以领会上帝开恩启示给我们的事。

我们知道自己属于上帝，全世界都在那恶者手中。我们知道上帝的儿子已经来了，并且赐给了我们悟性，使我们能认识真神。我们在真神里面，就是在祂儿子耶稣基督里面。祂是真神，也是永生。

祂也要把从我那里领受的指示你们，使我得荣耀。因为父的一切都是我的，所以我才说祂要把从我那里领受的指示你们。

你们接受的圣灵不是使你们做奴隶，仍旧害怕，而是使你们做儿子，可以称上帝为“阿爸，父亲”。圣灵亲自与我们的心一同见证我们是上帝的儿女。

孩子们，你们属于上帝，你们已经胜过了那些假先知，因为在你们里面的圣灵比在世上运行的邪灵更有能力。他们属于世界，所以他们谈论的都是世俗的事，世人也听从他们。

因此，如今那些在基督耶稣里的人不被定罪，

那些不信的人是被这世界的神弄瞎了心眼，以致看不见基督荣耀的福音之光。基督是上帝的本像。

天使对我说：“这些话真实可靠。赐圣灵感动众先知的主上帝已差遣祂的天使，将那些快要发生的事指示给祂的奴仆们。”

圣经上说：“上帝所赐、住在我们心里的圣灵深愿我们完全属于祂。”你们以为这是空谈吗？

无论是保罗、亚波罗、彼得、世界、生命、死亡、现在的事或将来的事都属于你们，

那时，你们随从今世的风俗，顺服在空中掌权的魔鬼，就是如今在一切叛逆上帝之人心中运行的邪灵。

上帝既然连自己的儿子也不顾惜，让祂为我们牺牲，岂不也把万物和祂一同白白地赐给我们吗？

当然我们也跟成熟的人谈论智慧，不过并非这个世代的智慧，也不是那些在世上当权、将来要衰亡之人的智慧。

但上帝拣选了世人看为愚昧的，要使智者羞愧；上帝拣选了世上软弱的，要使强者蒙羞；

它和它的天使都一同从天上被摔到地上。巨龙就是那古蛇，又名魔鬼或撒旦，也就是那迷惑全人类的。
