Then, when I arrive, I will give letters of introduction to the men you approve and send them with your gift to Jerusalem.

When I arrive, I will send some people with your gift to Jerusalem. They will be people you consider to be good. And I will give them letters that explain who they are.

And when I arrive, I will send those whom you accredit by letter to carry your gift to Jerusalem.

Or if our brethren are inquired about, they are messengers of the churches, the glory of Christ.Therefore show to them, and before the churches, the proof of your love and of our boasting on your behalf.

imploring us with much urgency that we would receive the gift and the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.

But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord wills, and I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up, but the power.For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power.What do you want? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness?

So we urged Titus, that as he had begun, so he would also complete this grace in you as well.

And they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit, and Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas, a proselyte from Antioch,whom they set before the apostles; and when they had prayed, they laid hands on them.
