Now I urge you, brothers and sisters: you know the household of Stephanas, that they are the first fruits of Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves to ministry to the saints;

弟兄們，你們知道司提法納一家人是亞該亞初熟的果子，而且他們獻上了自己去服事聖徒們。我勸你們，

兄弟乎、爾知司提反家乃亞該亞初實之果、且專事聖徒者、

爾知士提反家、在亞該亞、首宗主、專事聖徒、

兄弟乎、爾知司提反家、乃在亞該亞首先信主者、且專心事聖徒、

斯德法一家、乃亞該亞之首先奉教者、專心為聖教服務、此兄弟之所知也。

You know that the household of Stephanas were the first converts in Achaia, and they have devoted themselves to the service of the Lord’s people. I urge you, brothers and sisters,

You know that the first believers in Achaia were from the family of Stephanas. They have spent all their time serving the Lord’s people. Brothers and sisters, I am asking you

Now I urge you, brothers— you know that the household of Stephanas were the first converts in Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves to the service of the saints—

You know that Stephanas and his household were the first of the harvest of believers in Greece, and they are spending their lives in service to God’s people. I urge you, dear brothers and sisters,

Brothers and sisters, you know the household of Stephanas: They are the firstfruits of Achaia and have devoted themselves to serving the saints. I urge you

I urge you, brethren— you know the household of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves to the ministry of the saints—

Now I beseech you, brethren( ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have set themselves to minister unto the saints),

Brothers, you know the household of Stephanas: They are the firstfruits of Achaia and have devoted themselves to serving the saints. I urge you

I beseech you, brethren,( ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and[ that] they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)

Now, brothers and sisters, you know about the household of Stephanus, that as the first converts of Achaia, they devoted themselves to ministry for the saints. I urge you

Now I beg you, brothers— you know the house of Stephanas, that it is the first fruits of Achaia, and that they have set themselves to serve the saints—

also greet the church that is in their house. Greet Epaenetus, my beloved, who is the first convert to Christ from Asia.

But I did baptize the household of Stephanas also; beyond that, I do not know if I baptized anyone else.

As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the multifaceted grace of God.

contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality.

but now, I am going to Jerusalem, serving the saints.

begging us with much urging for the favor of participation in the support of the saints,

For it is superfluous for me to write to you about this ministry to the saints;

that you receive her in the Lord in a manner worthy of the saints, and that you help her in whatever matter she may have need of you; for she herself has also been a helper of many, and of myself as well.

Now in Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha( which when translated means Dorcas); this woman was excelling in acts of kindness and charity which she did habitually.But it happened at that time that she became sick and died; and when they had washed her body, they laid it in an upstairs room.Since Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, having heard that Peter was there, sent two men to him, urging him,“ Do not delay in coming to us.”So Peter got ready and went with them. When he arrived, they brought him into the room upstairs; and all the widows stood beside him, weeping and showing all the tunics and garments that Dorcas used to make while she was with them.But Peter sent them all out and knelt down and prayed, and turning to the body, he said,“ Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up.And he gave her his hand and raised her up; and calling the saints and widows, he presented her alive.

These are the ones who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are celibate. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been purchased from mankind as first fruits to God and to the Lamb.

For the ministry of this service is not only fully supplying the needs of the saints, but is also overflowing through many thanksgivings to God.Because of the proof given by this ministry, they will glorify God for your obedience to your confession of the gospel of Christ and for the liberality of your contribution to them and to all,while they also, by prayer on your behalf, yearn for you because of the surpassing grace of God in you.Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!

But while Gallio was proconsul of Achaia, the Jews rose up together against Paul and brought him before the judgment seat,

having a reputation for good works; and if she has brought up children, if she has shown hospitality to strangers, if she has washed the saints’ feet, if she has assisted those in distress, and if she has devoted herself to every good work.

For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, by having served and by still serving the saints.

I rejoice over the coming of Stephanas, Fortunatus, and Achaicus, because they have supplied what was lacking on your part.

that I may be rescued from those who are disobedient in Judea, and that my service for Jerusalem may prove acceptable to the saints;

For I have had great joy and comfort in your love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you, brother.
