弟兄們，你們知道司提法納一家人是亞該亞初熟的果子，而且他們獻上了自己去服事聖徒們。我勸你們，

兄弟乎、爾知司提反家乃亞該亞初實之果、且專事聖徒者、

爾知士提反家、在亞該亞、首宗主、專事聖徒、

兄弟乎、爾知司提反家、乃在亞該亞首先信主者、且專心事聖徒、

斯德法一家、乃亞該亞之首先奉教者、專心為聖教服務、此兄弟之所知也。

You know that the household of Stephanas were the first converts in Achaia, and they have devoted themselves to the service of the Lord’s people. I urge you, brothers and sisters,

You know that the first believers in Achaia were from the family of Stephanas. They have spent all their time serving the Lord’s people. Brothers and sisters, I am asking you

Now I urge you, brothers— you know that the household of Stephanas were the first converts in Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves to the service of the saints—

You know that Stephanas and his household were the first of the harvest of believers in Greece, and they are spending their lives in service to God’s people. I urge you, dear brothers and sisters,

Brothers and sisters, you know the household of Stephanas: They are the firstfruits of Achaia and have devoted themselves to serving the saints. I urge you

Now I urge you, brothers and sisters: you know the household of Stephanas, that they are the first fruits of Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves to ministry to the saints;

也問候他們家裡的教會。問候我親愛的以拜尼妥，他是亞西亞省初結的果子。

我也給司提反一家的人施過洗；此外，有沒有給別人施過洗，我就不記得了。

你們要作神各樣恩賜的好管家，各人照著所領受的恩賜彼此服事。

聖徒有缺乏的，就要接濟；客旅要熱誠地款待。

不過，我現在為了供應聖徒的事要往耶路撒冷去；

再三懇求我們，准許他們在供應聖徒的事上有分。

關於供應聖徒的事，我本來沒有寫信給你們的必要，

請你們在主裡用合乎聖徒身分的態度去接待她。無論她在甚麼事上有需要，請你們都幫助她；因為她曾經幫助許多人，也幫助了我。

在約帕有一個女門徒，名叫戴比莎，希臘話叫多加；她為人樂善好施。那時，她因病死了；有人把她洗淨了，停放在樓上。呂大靠近約帕，門徒聽說彼得在那邊，就派兩個人去求他，說：“請到我們那邊去，不要耽延！”彼得就動身，跟他們一同去。到了之後，他們領他上樓。所有寡婦站在彼得旁邊哭，把多加和她們在一起的時候所做的內衣外衣拿給他看。彼得叫大家出去之後，就跪下來禱告，然後轉過身來對著屍體說：“戴比莎，起來！”她就睜開眼睛，一看見彼得，就坐了起來。彼得伸手扶她起來，叫聖徒們和寡婦都進來，把多加活活地交給他們。

這些人沒有跟婦女在一起而使自己玷污，他們原是童身的。羊羔無論到哪裡去，他們都跟隨他。這些人是從世人中買來的，作初熟的果子歸給神和羊羔。

因為這供應的事，不僅補足了聖徒的缺乏，也使許多人對神感謝的心格外增多。眾聖徒因為你們承認和服從了基督的福音，並且慷慨地捐輸給他們和眾人，藉著你們在這供應的事上所得的憑據，就把榮耀歸給神。因著神在你們身上的厚恩，他們就為你們禱告，切切地想念你們。感謝神，他的恩賜難以形容。

當迦流作亞該亞省長的時候，猶太人一致起來攻擊保羅，拉他到審判臺前，

並且要有善行的見證：就如養育兒女，接待客旅，替聖徒洗腳，救濟困苦的人，盡力行各樣的善事等。

因為神並不是不公義，以致忘記了你們的工作，和你們為他的名所表現的愛心，就是你們以前服事聖徒，現在還是服事他們。

司提反、福徒拿都和亞該古都來了，所以我很快樂，因為他們補上了你們的不足，

求神救我脫離猶太地不信從的人，使我帶到耶路撒冷的捐款，可以得到聖徒的悅納；

弟兄啊，眾聖徒的心既然從你得到舒暢，我也因你的愛心，得到更大的喜樂和安慰。
