弟兄們，你們知道司提法納一家人是亞該亞初熟的果子，而且他們獻上了自己去服事聖徒們。我勸你們，

兄弟乎、爾知司提反家乃亞該亞初實之果、且專事聖徒者、

爾知士提反家、在亞該亞、首宗主、專事聖徒、

兄弟乎、爾知司提反家、乃在亞該亞首先信主者、且專心事聖徒、

斯德法一家、乃亞該亞之首先奉教者、專心為聖教服務、此兄弟之所知也。

You know that the household of Stephanas were the first converts in Achaia, and they have devoted themselves to the service of the Lord’s people. I urge you, brothers and sisters,

You know that the first believers in Achaia were from the family of Stephanas. They have spent all their time serving the Lord’s people. Brothers and sisters, I am asking you

Now I urge you, brothers— you know that the household of Stephanas were the first converts in Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves to the service of the saints—

You know that Stephanas and his household were the first of the harvest of believers in Greece, and they are spending their lives in service to God’s people. I urge you, dear brothers and sisters,

按着自己所得的恩赐彼此服侍，做上帝各样恩典的好管家。

信徒有缺乏，要慷慨帮助；客人来访，要热诚款待。

但现在我要去耶路撒冷服侍当地的圣徒，

他们恳切地求我们准许他们与有需要的圣徒分享上帝的恩典。

关于捐助圣徒的事，其实我不必再写信提醒你们，

请你们因为在主里的关系，照着做圣徒的本分接待她。无论她有什么需要，请你们帮助她，因为她帮助过许多人，也帮助过我。

在约帕有个乐善好施的女信徒名叫戴碧达，希腊话叫多加，意思是“羚羊”。当时，她患病死了。有人将她的尸体洗干净后，停放在楼上。吕大和约帕相距不远，门徒听说彼得在吕大，就派两个人赶去请他立刻来约帕。彼得便随他们一同到了那里，有人领他上楼。众寡妇都站在彼得周围哭，并把多加生前缝制的内衣、外衣给他看。彼得叫她们都出去，自己跪下祷告，然后转身对死者说：“戴碧达，起来！”她便睁开了眼睛，看见彼得，就坐了起来。彼得伸手扶她起来后，叫那些在外面等候的门徒和寡妇进来，把活过来的多加交给他们。

这些人从未沾染过妇女，都是童身。无论羔羊往哪里去，他们都紧随其后。他们是从世人中被赎出来的，作为初熟的果实献给上帝和羔羊。

因为这件善事不单可以帮助经济困难的圣徒，也使许多人对上帝充满感恩。通过这件善事，他们会把荣耀归给上帝，因为看见你们信服基督的福音，慷慨地帮助他们及众人。他们也会因上帝赐给你们的丰盛恩典而热切地为你们祷告。感谢上帝，祂的恩赐真是无以言表！

迦流出任亚该亚总督时，犹太人联合起来攻击保罗，把他拉上法庭，

并且在善事上有好名声，如教养儿女、接待外人、服侍圣徒、救助困苦、竭力做各种善事。

因为上帝并非不公义，以致忘记你们为祂所做的工作以及你们过去和现在服侍圣徒所表现的爱心。

我很高兴司提法纳、福徒拿都和亚该古来我这里，因为你们帮不到我的地方，他们都补足了。

使我脱离犹太地区不信之人的迫害，叫耶路撒冷的圣徒乐意接受我带去的捐款，

弟兄啊，你的爱心给我带来极大的喜乐和安慰，因为你使众圣徒感到欣慰。
