Now about our brother Apollos: I strongly urged him to go to you with the brothers. He was quite unwilling to go now, but he will go when he has the opportunity.

I want to say something about our brother Apollos. I tried my best to get him to go to you with the others. But he didn’t want to go right now. He will go when he can.

亞波羅算甚麼？保羅算甚麼？我們不過是神的僕人，你們藉著我們信了主；按著主所賜給各人的，

有一個生在亞歷山太的猶太人，名叫亞波羅，來到了以弗所。他很有口才，擅長講解聖經。這人在主的道上受過訓練，心靈火熱，很準確地講論，並且教導人關於耶穌的事，但他只曉得約翰的洗禮。這人在會堂裡放膽講論起來；百基拉和亞居拉聽了，就把他接來，把神的道更準確地向他講解。亞波羅有意要到亞該亞去，弟兄們就鼓勵他，又寫信請門徒接待他。他到了那裡，對那些蒙恩信主的人幫助很多，因為他當眾有力地駁倒猶太人，引用聖經證明耶穌是基督。亞波羅在哥林多的時候，保羅經過內地一帶，來到以弗所。他遇見幾個門徒，

無論是保羅，是亞波羅，是磯法，是世界，是生，是死，是現在的事，是將來的事，都是你們的。

萬事都有定期，天下萬務都有定時：

保羅講到公義、自制和將來的審判的時候，腓力斯就害怕起來，說：“你先走吧，等我有空的時候再叫你來。”

然而，到了神我們的救主顯明他的恩慈和憐愛的時候，

有一天，機會來了。在希律生日的那一天，他為大臣、千夫長和加利利的要人擺設了筵席。
