Now about our brother Apollos: I strongly urged him to go to you with the brothers. He was quite unwilling to go now, but he will go when he has the opportunity.

亚波罗算什么？保罗算什么？我们不过是上帝的仆人，各人照着主所赐的才干引导你们信靠上帝。

那时有一个生于亚历山大、名叫亚波罗的犹太人来到以弗所。他博学善辩，熟悉圣经。他在主的道上曾受过栽培，心里火热，能正确地讲解和教导有关耶稣的事，但他只知道约翰的洗礼。他在会堂里勇敢地讲道。百基拉和亚居拉听了以后，便请他到家里，将上帝的道更详细地告诉他。亚波罗有意去亚该亚，以弗所的弟兄姊妹就鼓励他，并写信请当地的门徒接待他。亚波罗到了之后，带给当地蒙恩信主的人很大帮助。他在公众面前有力地驳倒犹太人，引用圣经证明耶稣就是基督。当亚波罗在哥林多时，保罗已取道内陆重回以弗所，在那里遇见几个门徒。

无论是保罗、亚波罗、彼得、世界、生命、死亡、现在的事或将来的事都属于你们，

天下万物都有定期，凡事都有定时。

当保罗讲到公义、节制和将来的审判时，腓利斯十分恐惧，说：“你先下去吧，改天有机会，我再叫你来。”

但我们的救主上帝向人彰显了祂的恩慈和仁爱，

机会终于来了。希律在自己的生日那天设宴招待文武百官和加利利的显要。
