他要差遣天使，用大声的号筒，从四方，从天这边直到天那边，召集他的选民。”

因为，召集令一发，天使长的呼声一叫，上帝的号角一吹，主必亲自从天降临；那在基督里死了的人必先复活，然后我们这些活着还存留的人必和他们一同被提到云里，在空中与主相会。这样，我们就要和主永远同在。

我实实在在地告诉你们，时候将到，现在就是了，死人要听见上帝儿子的声音，听见的人就要活了。

你们不要对这事感到惊讶，因为时候将到，凡在坟墓里的，都要听见他的声音，

当那日，号角大响；在亚述地将亡的，与被赶散至埃及地的，都要前来，在耶路撒冷圣山上敬拜耶和华。

但主的日子要像贼一样来到；那日，天必在轰然一声中消失，天体都要被烈火熔化，地和地上的万物都要烧尽。

死人复活也是这样。所种的是会朽坏的，复活的是不朽坏的；

我观看，听见一只在空中飞的鹰大声说：“祸哉！祸哉！祸哉！地上的居民哪，其余的三位天使快要吹号了！”

第六位天使吹号，我听见有声音从上帝面前金坛的四角发出来，吩咐那吹号的第六位天使，说：“把那捆绑在幼发拉底大河的四个使者释放了。”

耶和华要显现在他们身上，他的箭要射出如闪电。主耶和华必吹角，乘南方的旋风而行。

我看见那站在上帝面前的七位天使，有七枝号赐给他们。

世上所有的居民，住在地上的人哪，山上大旗竖起时，你们要看，号角吹响时，你们要听。

他们转眼之间成了何等荒凉！他们被惊恐灭尽了。

弟兄们，我要告诉你们的是：血肉之躯不能承受上帝的国，必朽坏的也不能承受不朽坏的。

到了第三天早晨，山上有雷轰、闪电和密云，并且角声非常响亮，营中的百姓尽都战抖。

守望者见刀剑临到那地，若吹角警戒百姓，

众百姓见雷轰、闪电、角声、山上冒烟，百姓看见就都战抖，远远站着。

耶和华对摩西说：“你对以色列人说：‘你们是硬着颈项的百姓，我若在你们中间一起上去，只一瞬间，就必把你们灭绝。现在把你们身上的首饰摘下来，我好知道该怎样处置你们。’”

若只吹一枝，众领袖，就是以色列部队的官长，要到你那里聚集。

“你们离开这会众，我好立刻把他们灭绝。”他们二人就脸伏于地。

倘若守望者见刀剑临到，却不吹角，以致百姓未受警戒，刀剑来杀了他们中间的一个人，这人虽然因自己的罪孽而死，我却要从守望者的手里讨他的血债。

“你们离开这会众，我好立刻把他们灭绝。”
