在响亮的号声中，祂将差遣天使从四面八方、天涯海角招聚祂拣选的人。

因为主必在号令声、天使长的呼喊声和上帝的号角声中亲自从天降临，已经离世的基督徒必先复活。然后，我们还活着的人要和他们一起被提到云里，在空中与主相会，永远和主在一起。

我实实在在地告诉你们，时候快到了，现在就是，死人将听见上帝儿子的声音，听见的将存活。

你们不要因此而惊奇，时候一到，一切在坟墓里的死人都要听见上帝儿子的声音，

到那日，号角吹响后，亚述地将要灭亡的以色列人和流散到埃及的以色列人，都必来到耶路撒冷的圣山敬拜耶和华。

不过，主再来的日子要像贼一样突然临到。那日，诸天必在一声巨响中消失，有形有质的都要被烈火焚毁，大地和其中的一切将不复存在。

死人复活也是同样的道理。种下去的会朽坏，复活的不会朽坏；

我又看见有一只鹰在半空中飞翔，听见它大声宣告：“有祸了！有祸了！世上的居民有祸了！还有三位天使要吹响号角。”

第六位天使吹号的时候，我听见有一个声音从上帝面前的金祭坛的四个角发出来，对刚才吹号的第六位天使说：“将那捆绑在幼发拉底河的四个天使放出来！”

耶和华必在他们上面显现，祂的箭如闪电射出。主耶和华必吹响号角，乘南方的暴风而来。

然后，我看见站在上帝面前的七位天使领受了七支号角。

世上的一切居民啊，山上竖立旗帜的时候，你们要看；号角吹响的时候，你们要听。

他们顷刻间被毁灭，在恐怖中彻底灭亡。

弟兄姊妹，我告诉你们，血肉之躯不能承受上帝的国，必朽坏的身体也不能承受永不朽坏的产业。

到了第三天早晨，山上雷电大作，乌云密布，又有嘹亮的号角声，营中的百姓都胆战心惊。

守望者发现敌人来攻打，便吹号警告百姓。

那时雷电交加，号角嘹亮，山上冒烟，百姓看见此情景，都吓得浑身颤抖，不敢挨近。

耶和华对摩西说：“你去向以色列百姓宣布，‘你们这些顽固不化的人，我就是跟你们在一起待一刻，都恐怕会灭绝你们。现在你们要摘下自己身上的饰物，我再决定怎样处置你们。’”

如果只吹响一支号，担任首领的以色列各族长要聚集到你那里。

“你们离开这些会众，我好在顷刻之间消灭他们。”他们二人就俯伏在地。

但如果守望者看见敌人来攻打而不吹号警告百姓，以致有人被敌人杀了，那人固然是因自己的罪恶而被杀，我却要向这守望者追讨那人被杀的血债。’

“你们离开这些会众，我好在顷刻之间消灭他们。”
