For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.For this we tell you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will in no way precede those who have fallen asleep.For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with God’s trumpet. The dead in Christ will rise first,then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever.

who will change the body of our humiliation to be conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working by which he is able even to subject all things to himself.

But now Christ has been raised from the dead. He became the first fruits of those who are asleep.

But we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, the wisdom that has been hidden, which God foreordained before the worlds for our glory,

making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him

Then he appeared to over five hundred brothers at once, most of whom remain until now, but some have also fallen asleep.

So let a man think of us as Christ’s servants, and stewards of God’s mysteries.

how that by revelation the mystery was made known to me, as I wrote before in few words,

Then they also who are fallen asleep in Christ have perished.

This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly.

If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don’t have love, I am nothing.
