So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable;

It will be like that with bodies that are raised from the dead. The body that is planted does not last forever. The body that is raised from the dead lasts forever.

So is it with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable; what is raised is imperishable.

It is the same way with the resurrection of the dead. Our earthly bodies are planted in the ground when we die, but they will be raised to live forever.

Those who are wise will shine like the bright expanse of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.

that the creation itself will also be set free from the bondage of corruption into the glorious freedom of God’s children.

But those who are counted worthy to take part in that age and in the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage.For they cannot die anymore, because they are like angels and are sons of God, since they are sons of the resurrection.

You will eat bread by the sweat of your brow until you return to the ground, since you were taken from it. For you are dust, and you will return to dust.”

Seeing this in advance, he spoke concerning the resurrection of the Messiah: He was not left in Hades, and His flesh did not experience decay.

For You will not abandon me to Sheol; You will not allow Your Faithful One to see decay.

and into an inheritance that is imperishable, uncorrupted, and unfading, kept in heaven for you.

because You will not leave me in Hades or allow Your Holy One to see decay.

Like sheep they are headed for Sheol; Death will shepherd them. The upright will rule over them in the morning, and their form will waste away in Sheol, far from their lofty abode.

but our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.He will transform the body of our humble condition into the likeness of His glorious body, by the power that enables Him to subject everything to Himself.

Since He raised Him from the dead, never to return to decay, He has spoken in this way, I will grant you the faithful covenant blessings made to David.Therefore He also says in another passage, You will not allow Your Holy One to see decay.For David, after serving his own generation in God’s plan, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and decayed.But the One God raised up did not decay.

Brothers, I tell you this: Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, and corruption cannot inherit incorruption.Listen! I am telling you a mystery: We will not all fall asleep, but we will all be changed,in a moment, in the blink of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed.For this corruptible must be clothed with incorruptibility, and this mortal must be clothed with immortality.When this corruptible is clothed with incorruptibility, and this mortal is clothed with immortality, then the saying that is written will take place: Death has been swallowed up in victory.

and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man, birds, four-footed animals, and reptiles.

Indeed, it was for my own welfare that I had such great bitterness; but Your love has delivered me from the Pit of destruction, for You have thrown all my sins behind Your back.

and say to corruption: You are my father, and to the maggot: My mother or my sister,

so that he may live forever and not see the Pit.
