它们的声音（按照《马索拉文本》，“声音”作“准绳”；现参照《七十士译本》等古译本翻译）传遍全地，它们的言语传到地极，神在它们中间为太阳安设帐幕。太阳如同新郎出洞房，又像勇士欢欢喜喜地跑路。它从天的这边出来，绕行到天的那边；没有什么可以隐藏，得不到它的温暖。

神说：“在天上穹苍中，要有光体来分昼夜；这些光体要作为记号，定节令、日子和年岁；
