或將曰：『死者果如何復活乎？將受何種之體以興乎？』

But someone will ask,“ How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?”

Then He said to me,“ Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered,“ Lord God, You Yourself know.”

You will say to me then,“ Why does He still find fault? For who has resisted His will?”

Just as you do not know the path of the wind, and how bones are formed in the womb of the pregnant woman, so you do not know the activity of God who makes everything.

Then He said to me,“ Son of man, these bones are the entire house of Israel; behold, they say,‘ Our bones are dried up and our hope has perished. We are completely cut off.’

So they were saying to him,“ How then were your eyes opened?”

But you say,‘ What does God know? Can He judge through the thick darkness?

But God gives it a body just as He wished, and to each of the seeds a body of its own.All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one flesh of mankind, another flesh of animals, another flesh of birds, and another of fish.There are also heavenly bodies and earthly bodies, but the glory of the heavenly is one, and the glory of the earthly is another.There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for star differs from star in glory.So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown a perishable body, it is raised an imperishable body;it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.So also it is written:“ The first man, Adam, became a living person.” The last Adam was a life giving spirit.However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural; then the spiritual.The first man is from the earth, earthy; the second man is from heaven.As is the earthy one, so also are those who are earthy; and as is the heavenly one, so also are those who are heavenly.Just as we have borne the image of the earthy, we will also bear the image of the heavenly.Now I say this, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.Behold, I am telling you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed,in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Nicodemus responded and said to Him,“ How can these things be?”

Nicodemus* said to Him,“ How can a person be born when he is old? He cannot enter his mother’s womb a second time and be born, can he?”

They say,“ How does God know? And is there knowledge with the Most High?”

But Jesus answered and said to them,“ You are mistaken, since you do not understand the Scriptures nor the power of God.For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.

who will transform the body of our lowly condition into conformity with His glorious body, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself.
