或有人問、死者如何復活、以何身而來乎、

或將曰：『死者果如何復活乎？將受何種之體以興乎？』

But someone will ask,“ How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?”

And he said to me,“ Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered,“ O Lord God, you know.”

You will say to me then,“ Why does he still find fault? For who can resist his will?”

As you do not know the way the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of a woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything.

Then he said to me,“ Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say,‘ Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are indeed cut off.’

So they said to him,“ Then how were your eyes opened?”

But you say,‘ What does God know? Can he judge through the deep darkness?

But God gives it a body as he has chosen, and to each kind of seed its own body.For not all flesh is the same, but there is one kind for humans, another for animals, another for birds, and another for fish.There are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies, but the glory of the heavenly is of one kind, and the glory of the earthly is of another.There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for star differs from star in glory.So is it with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable; what is raised is imperishable.It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power.It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.Thus it is written,“ The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.But it is not the spiritual that is first but the natural, and then the spiritual.The first man was from the earth, a man of dust; the second man is from heaven.As was the man of dust, so also are those who are of the dust, and as is the man of heaven, so also are those who are of heaven.Just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the man of heaven.I tell you this, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality.

Nicodemus said to him,“ How can these things be?”

Nicodemus said to him,“ How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”

But a stupid man will get understanding when a wild donkey’s colt is born a man!

And they say,“ How can God know? Is there knowledge in the Most High?”

But Jesus answered them,“ You are wrong, because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God.For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.

who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.
