The one who walks with the wise will become wise, but a companion of fools will suffer harm.

Then Jesus replied to them:“ Watch out that no one deceives you.

Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast permeates the whole batch of dough?

Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be deceived: No sexually immoral people, idolaters, adulterers, or anyone practicing homosexuality,

Let no one deceive you with empty arguments, for God’s wrath is coming on the disobedient because of these things.

But avoid irreverent, empty speech, for this will produce an even greater measure of godlessness.And their word will spread like gangrene; Hymenaeus and Philetus are among them.They have deviated from the truth, saying that the resurrection has already taken place, and are overturning the faith of some.

Leave inexperience behind, and you will live; pursue the way of understanding.

Don’t be deceived: God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows he will also reap,

False messiahs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.

Many will follow their unrestrained ways, and the way of truth will be blasphemed because of them.

For by uttering boastful, empty words, they seduce, with fleshly desires and debauchery, people who have barely escaped from those who live in error.They promise them freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption, since people are enslaved to whatever defeats them.For if, having escaped the world’s impurity through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in these things and defeated, the last state is worse for them than the first.

Make sure that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no root of bitterness springs up, causing trouble and by it, defiling many.

Many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.

All those who live on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name was not written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slaughtered.If anyone has an ear, he should listen:If anyone is destined for captivity, into captivity he goes. If anyone is to be killed with a sword, with a sword he will be killed. This demands the perseverance and faith of the saints.Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; he had two horns like a lamb, but he sounded like a dragon.He exercises all the authority of the first beast on his behalf and compels the earth and those who live on it to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed.He also performs great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to earth in front of people.He deceives those who live on the earth because of the signs that he is permitted to perform on behalf of the beast, telling those who live on the earth to make an image of the beast who had the sword wound and yet lived.

So the great dragon was thrown out— the ancient serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, the one who deceives the whole world. He was thrown to earth, and his angels with him.

and with every unrighteous deception among those who are perishing. They perish because they did not accept the love of the truth in order to be saved.
