我們又為什麼要時時刻刻面臨危險呢？

且我儕何為恆冒險哉、

我儕何為恆冒險乎、

且吾儕之臨危蹈難、不遑寧息、所為何事乎？

And as for us, why do we endanger ourselves every hour?

And why would we put ourselves in danger every hour?

As unknown, and[ yet] well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;

And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.

I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.[ We are] troubled on every side, yet not distressed;[ we are] perplexed, but not in despair;Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.So then death worketh in us, but life in you.

Are they ministers of Christ?( I speak as a fool) I[ am] more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.Of the Jews five times received I forty[ stripes] save one.Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;[ In] journeyings often,[ in] perils of waters,[ in] perils of robbers,[ in] perils by[ mine own] countrymen,[ in] perils by the heathen,[ in] perils in the city,[ in] perils in the wilderness,[ in] perils in the sea,[ in] perils among false brethren;In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.

As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
