He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.By which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.And every priest indeed standeth day by day ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, the which can never take away sins:but he, when he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

He said therefore again unto them, I go away, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sin: whither I go, ye cannot come.The Jews therefore said, Will he kill himself, that he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come?And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for except ye believe that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

Be it known unto you therefore, brethren, that through this man is proclaimed unto you remission of sins:and by him every one that believeth is justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth;who is he that condemneth? It is Christ Jesus that died, yea rather, that was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Him did God exalt with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, to give repentance to Israel, and remission of sins.

For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, shall we be saved by his life;

And they indeed have been made priests many in number, because that by death they are hindered from continuing:but he, because he abideth for ever, hath his priesthood unchangeable.Wherefore also he is able to save to the uttermost them that draw near unto God through him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.For such a high priest became us, holy, guileless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;who needeth not daily, like those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people: for this he did once for all, when he offered up himself.For the law appointeth men high priests, having infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was after the law, appointeth a Son, perfected for evermore.

by which also ye are saved, if ye hold fast the word which I preached unto you, except ye believed in vain.

And according to the law, I may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.It was necessary therefore that the copies of the things in the heavens should be cleansed with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.For Christ entered not into a holy place made with hands, like in pattern to the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear before the face of God for us:nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place year by year with blood not his own;else must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once at the end of the ages hath he been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.And inasmuch as it is appointed unto men once to die, and after this cometh judgment;so Christ also, having been once offered to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time, apart from sin, to them that wait for him, unto salvation.

And thou, son of man, say unto the house of Israel: Thus ye speak, saying, Our transgressions and our sins are upon us, and we pine away in them; how then can we live?
