不寧惟是、吾人將為天主之偽證矣。蓋死者苟無復活、則天主實未復活基督、而吾人強為之證曰、天主已復活之矣、是非偽證而何。

并且明显我们是为神妄作见证的，因我们见证神是叫基督复活了。若死人真不复活，神也就没有叫基督复活了。

这样，我们甚至被当作是为上帝妄作见证的，因为我们见证上帝是使基督复活了。如果死人真的没有复活，上帝就没有使基督复活了。

这样，我们就被看做是神的假见证人，因为我们见证了有关神的事，说神使基督复活了，如果死人真不会复活，神就没有使基督复活；

這樣，我們就被看做是神的假見證人，因為我們見證了有關神的事，說神使基督復活了，如果死人真不會復活，神就沒有使基督復活；

死者不起、則上帝未嘗起基督、而我證其起之、適為妄證於上帝、

死者不甦、則上帝未甦基督、而吾證上帝甦之、則為妄證、

若死者不復活、則天主未使基督復活、而我儕證天主曾使之復活、是我儕為天主妄證矣、

More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead. But he did not raise him if in fact the dead are not raised.

And we apostles would all be lying about God— for we have said that God raised Christ from the grave. But that can’t be true if there is no resurrection of the dead.

Moreover, we are found to be false witnesses about God, because we have testified wrongly about God that he raised up Christ— whom he did not raise up, if in fact the dead are not raised.

天主為解苦厄、使之復活、死固不足以限之也。

若死者無復活則基督亦未復活也；

勸化猶太及希臘人士、悔過自新、歸向天主、信賴吾主耶穌基督。

天主之復活耶穌、吾儕實為見證。

凡彼在猶太國及耶路撒冷之所行、吾人實為之證；而人竟懸之於木而殺之。第三日天主甦之、且使其顯現、不在廣眾之前、惟於天主所預定之見證、即其復活後飲食與共之吾曹是已。彼又命吾儕傳道於眾、證其已膺天主之命、而為黜陟幽明之主：

則爾與義塞民當知納匝勒人耶穌基督、即爾曹所釘於十字架者、天主已賜以復活。此人之所以能獲康復而挺立於爾前者、賴耶穌之名也。

天主則起之於死、凡自加利利隨赴耶路撒冷者、見之多日今為其證於人。吾儕報爾佳音：天主嚮所許諾於吾祖者、已踐履於吾人。蓋天主已令耶穌復活矣。聖詠第二首所云：「汝乃吾子、誕於今日。」此之謂也。

宗徒復藉神力證主耶穌之復活、而眾亦廣沐洪恩、

曰：今夫天主之真、既賴吾人之偽、而發揚光大、則吾之被判為罪人、不亦枉乎？曰：是不啻謂吾人當種惡因、以求善果、有是理乎？然誣吾儕持此說者、實大有人在；吾知此輩必受審判也。

然按諸事實、基督固已自死者中復活、而為眾寢者先薦之果矣。
