若死者不復活、則天主未使基督復活、而我儕證天主曾使之復活、是我儕為天主妄證矣、

并且明显我们是为神妄作见证的，因我们见证神是叫基督复活了。若死人真不复活，神也就没有叫基督复活了。

这样，我们甚至被当作是为上帝妄作见证的，因为我们见证上帝是使基督复活了。如果死人真的没有复活，上帝就没有使基督复活了。

这样，我们就被看做是神的假见证人，因为我们见证了有关神的事，说神使基督复活了，如果死人真不会复活，神就没有使基督复活；

這樣，我們就被看做是神的假見證人，因為我們見證了有關神的事，說神使基督復活了，如果死人真不會復活，神就沒有使基督復活；

死者不起、則上帝未嘗起基督、而我證其起之、適為妄證於上帝、

死者不甦、則上帝未甦基督、而吾證上帝甦之、則為妄證、

不寧惟是、吾人將為天主之偽證矣。蓋死者苟無復活、則天主實未復活基督、而吾人強為之證曰、天主已復活之矣、是非偽證而何。

Moreover, we are found to be false witnesses about God, because we have testified wrongly about God that he raised up Christ— whom he did not raise up, if in fact the dead are not raised.

然其受難死後、天主釋而復活、因死不能久拘之、

若無死者復活、則基督未復活矣、

爾為天主出妄言乎、為天主出誕語乎、爾徇天主之情乎、欲為之辨白乎、天主若察問爾、爾豈可以為美乎、豈可欺天主如欺人乎、爾若暗徇情面、天主必譴責爾、

則爾眾與以色列民、當知拿撒勒耶穌基督、爾釘之十字架、天主所復活者、即以其名、使此人得愈、立於爾前、

惟天主使其由死復活、自迦利利偕之上耶路撒冷者、歷多日見之、今彼在民間為之作證、我儕以福音報爾、即所許我列祖之事、今天主以耶穌復活、為我儕為其子孫者應之、如詩篇第二篇所載云、爾乃我子、我今日生爾、

使徒以能力證主耶穌復活、皆獲大寵、

若天主之真、因我之偽、而愈顯以致其榮、則我何又見擬如罪人乎、何不行如人之所言曰、莫若作惡以致善、曰、非也、有人謗我儕誣我儕素有此言、其人受刑宜也、

但基督誠復活、在寢者中為首起者、
