這樣，我們就被看做是神的假見證人，因為我們見證了有關神的事，說神使基督復活了，如果死人真不會復活，神就沒有使基督復活；

并且明显我们是为神妄作见证的，因我们见证神是叫基督复活了。若死人真不复活，神也就没有叫基督复活了。

这样，我们甚至被当作是为上帝妄作见证的，因为我们见证上帝是使基督复活了。如果死人真的没有复活，上帝就没有使基督复活了。

死者不起、則上帝未嘗起基督、而我證其起之、適為妄證於上帝、

死者不甦、則上帝未甦基督、而吾證上帝甦之、則為妄證、

若死者不復活、則天主未使基督復活、而我儕證天主曾使之復活、是我儕為天主妄證矣、

不寧惟是、吾人將為天主之偽證矣。蓋死者苟無復活、則天主實未復活基督、而吾人強為之證曰、天主已復活之矣、是非偽證而何。

神卻解除了死亡的痛苦，使他復活，因為他本來就不能被死亡轄制。

如果沒有死人復活的事，基督也就沒有復活了。

無論對猶太人或希臘人，我都鄭重地勸誡他們要向神悔改，相信我們的主耶穌。

「這位耶穌，神已經使他復活了。我們都是這事的見證人。

我們就是他在猶太人之地和耶路撒冷所行的一切事的見證人。他們竟然把他掛在木頭上殺了。第三天，神使他復活，並且使他顯現，不是顯現給全體民眾，而是顯現給神預先選定的見證人，就是我們這些在他從死人中復活以後，與他一起吃、一起喝的人。耶穌還吩咐我們要向民眾傳道，鄭重地見證他就是神所設定的那一位，活人和死人的審判者。

那麼，你們大家和所有以色列子民應當知道：這個人健全地站在你們面前，是藉著拿撒勒人耶穌基督的名。這位耶穌基督，你們把他釘上十字架，但是神使他從死人中復活了！

但是神使他從死人中復活了！一連好幾天，他向那些與他一起從加利利上到耶路撒冷的人顯現；這些人如今在民間做了他的見證人，而我們也把應許給祖先的這福音傳給你們，因為神使耶穌復活，已經為我們這些做他們兒女的成全了這應許，正如詩篇第二篇也記著：『你是我的兒子，我今天生了你。』

使徒們大有能力地為主耶穌的復活做見證，並且在他們每個人身上都有極大的恩典。

那麼，如果神的真實因我的虛謊使他的榮耀更加豐盛，為什麼我還要像罪人一樣被定罪呢？這樣，為什麼不說「讓我們作惡好帶來善」呢？——我們正是如此受到毀謗，也有些人說過我們講了這話——這些人被定罪倒是應該的。

但如今，基督已經從死人中復活，成為睡了之人初熟的果子，
