若沒有死人復活的事，基督就沒有復活了。

耶穌對她說：「復活在我，生命也在我。信我的人雖然死了，也必復活。凡活着信我的人必永遠不死。你信這話嗎？」

既然我們信耶穌死了，復活了，那些已經在耶穌裏睡了的人，神也必將他們與耶穌一同帶來。

然而，使耶穌從死人中復活的神的靈若住在你們裏面，那使基督從死人中復活的，也必藉着住在你們裏面的聖靈使你們必死的身體又活過來。

又是永活的。我曾死過，看哪，我是活着的，直到永永遠遠；並且我拿着死亡和陰間的鑰匙。

我們身上常帶着耶穌的死，使耶穌的生也在我們身上顯明。因為我們這活着的人常為耶穌被置於死地，使耶穌的生命在我們這必死的人身上顯明出來。這樣看來，死是在我們身上運作，生卻在你們身上運作。但我們既然有從同一位靈而來的信心，正如經上記着：「我信，故我說話」，我們也信，所以也說話；因為知道，那使主耶穌復活的也必使我們與耶穌一同復活，並且使我們與你們一起站在他面前。

願頌讚歸於我們主耶穌基督的父神！他曾照自己的大憐憫，藉着耶穌基督從死人中復活，重生了我們，使我們有活的盼望，

但願賜平安的神，就是那憑永約之血，把羣羊的大牧人－我們主耶穌從死人中領出來的神，

因為撒都該人一方面說沒有復活，另一方面沒有天使和鬼魂；法利賽人卻承認兩方面都有。

也是為我們將來得算為義的人寫的，就是為我們這些信神使我們的主耶穌從死人中復活的人寫的。耶穌被出賣，是為我們的過犯；他復活，是為使我們稱義。

不但如此，就是我們這有聖靈作初熟果子的，也是自己內心呻吟，等候得着兒子的名分，就是我們的身體得救贖。

所以，既然你們已經與基督一同復活，就當求上面的事；那裏有基督，坐在神的右邊。你們要思考上面的事，不要思考地上的事。因為你們已經死了，你們的生命與基督一同藏在神裏面。基督是你們的生命，他顯現的時候，你們也要與他一同在榮耀裏顯現。

從此以後，有公義的冠冕為我存留，就是按着公義審判的主到了那日要賜給我的；不但賜給我，也賜給凡愛慕他顯現的人。

其實，基督已經從死人中復活，成為睡了之人初熟的果子。

既然兒女同有血肉之軀，他也照樣親自成了血肉之軀，為能藉着死敗壞那掌管死權的，就是魔鬼，
