吾之得有今日、皆賴天主之寵佑；惟予黽勉勞苦、視他人有過無不及、則未辜負天主之寵佑也。雖然、是亦天主寵佑而已、初非予之功也。

of which I was made a servant according to the gift of that grace of God which was given me according to the working of his power.To me, the very least of all saints, was this grace given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,

for he who worked through Peter in the apostleship with the circumcised also worked through me with the Gentiles—

For we are not bold to number or compare ourselves with some of those who commend themselves. But they themselves, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves with themselves, are without understanding.But we will not boast beyond proper limits, but within the boundaries with which God appointed to us, which reach even to you.For we don’t stretch ourselves too much, as though we didn’t reach to you. For we came even as far as to you with the Good News of Christ,not boasting beyond proper limits in other men’s labors, but having hope that as your faith grows, we will be abundantly enlarged by you in our sphere of influence,so as to preach the Good News even to the parts beyond you, not to boast in what someone else has already done.

I have become foolish in boasting. You compelled me, for I ought to have been commended by you, for in nothing was I inferior to the very best apostles, though I am nothing.

that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus;for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

For I say through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.

I have therefore my boasting in Christ Jesus in things pertaining to God.For I will not dare to speak of any things except those which Christ worked through me, for the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed,in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of God’s Spirit; so that from Jerusalem, and around as far as to Illyricum, I have fully preached the Good News of Christ;yes, making it my aim to preach the Good News, not where Christ was already named, that I might not build on another’s foundation.

Working together, we entreat also that you do not receive the grace of God in vain,

Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

by which also you are saved, if you hold firmly the word which I preached to you— unless you believed in vain.

For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn’t receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase.

For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.

I ask then, did God reject his people? May it never be! For I also am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

We proclaim him, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus;for which I also labor, striving according to his working, which works in me mightily.

Are they servants of Christ?( I speak as one beside himself.) I am more so: in labors more abundantly, in prisons more abundantly, in stripes above measure, and in deaths often.Five times I received forty stripes minus one from the Jews.Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I suffered shipwreck. I have been a night and a day in the deep.I have been in travels often, perils of rivers, perils of robbers, perils from my countrymen, perils from the Gentiles, perils in the city, perils in the wilderness, perils in the sea, perils among false brothers;in labor and travail, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, and in cold and nakedness.Besides those things that are outside, there is that which presses on me daily: anxiety for all the assemblies.Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is caused to stumble, and I don’t burn with indignation?If I must boast, I will boast of the things that concern my weakness.

The saying is faithful and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.However, for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first, Jesus Christ might display all his patience for an example of those who were going to believe in him for eternal life.
