我賴使我有力者、凡事能為、

非謂我儕恃己能由己而思何事、我之能由天主也、

我自誇而為狂、乃爾使我不得已、蓋爾原當稱譽我、我雖如無有、凡事不亞於至大之使徒、

天主因基督耶穌、向我儕大施仁慈、欲以其恩寵之豐厚、示於後世、蓋爾曹因信、以恩得救、此非由己、乃天主所賜也、

我藉所蒙之恩、告爾各人、勿高思過於所當、乃以不越分為思、循天主所賜各人信德之量、

論天主之事、我賴基督耶穌、有所可誇、非基督藉我所成之事不敢言、惟敢言基督藉我以言以行、以異跡奇事之能、及天主之神之大力、使異邦人順從、如是、我自耶路撒冷及其四周、至於以利利公、遍傳基督福音、

我儕同勞之人、勸爾不可徒受天主之恩、經載云、

今時亦然、猶有遺留之人、乃由恩寵蒙選者、若由恩則非由功、否則恩不復為恩、若由功則非由恩、否則功不復為功、

爾若守我所傳爾者、且爾信不虛、則必以此福音得救矣、

彼基督之役乎、我更是也、我言此似狂、我較彼逾勞、逾受笞責、屢次繫獄、屢次瀕死、五次被鞭於猶太人、每次四十減一、三次受杖、一次石擊、三次舟壞、一晝一夜在深海中、常行遠路、曾遭江河之危、盜賊之危、同族之危、異邦人之危、邑中之危、曠野海中之危、偽兄弟之危、受勞受苦、屢不寢、又饑又渴、常禁食、受寒及裸、此外尚有日積我心之事、即為諸教會所慮者也、誰弱而我不與之同弱乎、誰躓蹶而我心不如焚乎、若我當誇、必誇我之弱、

基督耶穌臨世、以救罪人、此言可信、人當悅納者、罪人中我本元惡、然我蒙矜恤、乃因耶穌基督欲先於我身顯其一切恆忍、使後之信主得永生者、以我為模範、
