Now, brothers and sisters, if I come to you speaking in tongues, how will I help you unless I speak to you with a revelation or with knowledge or prophecy or teaching?

弟兄们，我到你们那里去，若只说方言，不用启示，或知识，或预言，或教训，给你们讲解，我与你们有什么益处呢？

弟兄们，我到你们那里去，若只说方言，不用启示，或知识，或预言，或教导，给你们讲解，我对你们有什么益处呢？

弟兄们，我到你们那里去，若只说方言，不用启示，或知识，或预言，或教导，给你们讲解，我对你们有什么益处呢？

弟兄姊妹，如果我到你们那里只说方言，不讲解有关上帝的启示、知识、预言、教导，我对你们有什么益处呢？

弟兄们，你们想想，如果我到你们那里去，只说方言，不向你们讲有关启示、知识、预言，或教训的话，那我对你们有什么益处呢？

所以弟兄们，就算我现在到你们那里去，用殊言说话，但如果不用启示、知识、预言、或教导来对你们说话，那么我对你们有什么益处呢？

弟兄們，我到你們那裏去，若只說方言，不用啟示，或知識，或預言，或教訓，給你們講解，我與你們有甚麼益處呢？

弟兄們，我到你們那裏去，若只說方言，不用啟示，或知識，或預言，或教導，給你們講解，我對你們有甚麼益處呢？

弟兄們，我到你們那裏去，若只說方言，不用啟示，或知識，或預言，或教導，給你們講解，我對你們有甚麼益處呢？

弟兄姊妹，如果我到你們那裡只說方言，不講解有關上帝的啟示、知識、預言、教導，我對你們有什麼益處呢？

弟兄們，你們想想，如果我到你們那裡去，只說方言，不向你們講有關啟示、知識、預言，或教訓的話，那我對你們有甚麼益處呢？

其實弟兄們，我到你們那裏去、若只捲舌頭說話，而不用啓示或知識、或神言傳講、或教訓、對你們講，於你們能有甚麼益處呢？

所以弟兄們，就算我現在到你們那裡去，用殊言說話，但如果不用啟示、知識、預言、或教導來對你們說話，那麼我對你們有什麼益處呢？

兄弟乎、如我就爾、第言方言而不以啟示、知識、預言、教誨語爾、則何益哉、

兄弟乎、如我就爾、第言諸國方言、而不傳默示、智慧、預言、教訓、則何益哉、

兄弟乎、我就爾、若第言方言、而不以默示、或知識、或預言、或教訓勸爾、則於爾何益哉、

譬如吾來兄弟處、儘操方言、則於爾何益；必也授爾以啟示、傳爾以知識、覺爾以預言、警爾以教訓、斯有益矣。

Now, brothers and sisters, if I come to you and speak in tongues, what good will I be to you, unless I bring you some revelation or knowledge or prophecy or word of instruction?

Brothers and sisters, suppose I were to come to you and speak in other languages. What good would I be to you? None! I would need to come with new truth or knowledge. Or I would need to come with a prophecy or a teaching.

Now, brothers, if I come to you speaking in tongues, how will I benefit you unless I bring you some revelation or knowledge or prophecy or teaching?

Dear brothers and sisters, if I should come to you speaking in an unknown language, how would that help you? But if I bring you a revelation or some special knowledge or prophecy or teaching, that will be helpful.

So now, brothers and sisters, if I come to you speaking in tongues, how will I benefit you unless I speak to you with a revelation or knowledge or prophecy or teaching?

But now, brothers and sisters, if I come to you speaking in tongues, how will I benefit you unless I speak to you either by way of revelation, or of knowledge, or of prophecy, or of teaching?

But now, brethren, if I come to you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you unless I speak to you either by revelation, by knowledge, by prophesying, or by teaching?

But now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, unless I speak to you either by way of revelation, or of knowledge, or of prophesying, or of teaching?

But now, brothers, if I come to you speaking in other languages, how will I benefit you unless I speak to you with a revelation or knowledge or prophecy or teaching?

Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine?

But now, brothers, if I come to you speaking with other languages, what would I profit you, unless I speak to you either by way of revelation, or of knowledge, or of prophesying, or of teaching?

I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you spiritual wisdom and revelation in your growing knowledge of him,

But thanks be to God that though you were slaves to sin, you obeyed from the heart that pattern of teaching you were entrusted to,

For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith excellence, to excellence, knowledge;

Every scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,

I, the LORD, affirm that I am opposed to those prophets who dream up lies and report them. They are misleading my people with their reckless lies. I did not send them. I did not commission them. They are not helping these people at all. I, the LORD, affirm it!”

What should you do then, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each one has a song, has a lesson, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all these things be done for the strengthening of the church.If someone speaks in a tongue, it should be two, or at the most three, one after the other, and someone must interpret.But if there is no interpreter, he should be silent in the church. Let him speak to himself and to God.Two or three prophets should speak and the others should evaluate what is said.And if someone sitting down receives a revelation, the person who is speaking should conclude.

You should not turn aside after empty things that can’t profit and can’t deliver, since they are empty.

Do not be carried away by all sorts of strange teachings. For it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not ritual meals, which have never benefited those who participated in them.

Then I said,“ LORD, you give me strength and protect me. You are the one I can run to for safety when I am in trouble. Nations from all over the earth will come to you and say,‘ Our ancestors had nothing but false gods– worthless idols that could not help them at all.

even because of the extraordinary character of the revelations. Therefore, so that I would not become arrogant, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to trouble me– so that I would not become arrogant.

To each person the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the benefit of all.For one person is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, and another the message of knowledge according to the same Spirit,

This saying is trustworthy, and I want you to insist on such truths, so that those who have placed their faith in God may be intent on engaging in good works. These things are good and beneficial for all people.

It is necessary to go on boasting. Though it is not profitable, I will go on to visions and revelations from the Lord.

just as I also try to please everyone in all things. I do not seek my own benefit, but the benefit of many, so that they may be saved.

And if I have prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith so that I can remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.If I give away everything I own, and if I give over my body in order to boast, but do not have love, I receive no benefit.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the honor both now and on that eternal day.

They were devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

You, however, have followed my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, my faith, my patience, my love, my endurance,

Therefore let those of us who are“ perfect” embrace this point of view. If you think otherwise, God will reveal to you the error of your ways.

Remind people of these things and solemnly charge them before the Lord not to wrangle over words. This is of no benefit; it just brings ruin on those who listen.

Pursue love and be eager for the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy.

When reading this, you will be able to understand my insight into this secret of Christ.

And even if I am unskilled in speaking, yet I am certainly not so in knowledge. Indeed, we have made this plain to you in everything in every way.

But I myself am fully convinced about you, my brothers and sisters, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, and able to instruct one another.

At that time Jesus said,“ I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and revealed them to little children.

And Jesus answered him,“ You are blessed, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but my Father in heaven!

Love never ends. But if there are prophecies, they will be set aside; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be set aside.For we know in part, and we prophesy in part,

For what does it benefit a person if he gains the whole world but forfeits his life? Or what can a person give in exchange for his life?

Preach the message, be ready whether it is convenient or not, reprove, rebuke, exhort with complete patience and instruction.

Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who create dissensions and obstacles contrary to the teaching that you learned. Avoid them!
