有自以為先知、或屬聖神者、當知我所書、乃主之命也、

倘有人自以為先知、或富於靈賦、則應知吾茲所書者、乃為主之命令也。

If anyone thinks they are a prophet or otherwise gifted by the Spirit, let them acknowledge that what I am writing to you is the Lord’s command.

Suppose anyone thinks they are a prophet. Or suppose they think they have other gifts given by the Holy Spirit. They should agree that what I am writing to you is the Lord’s command.

If anyone thinks that he is a prophet, or spiritual, he should acknowledge that the things I am writing to you are a command of the Lord.

播於形軀者、將由形軀而穫敗壞、播於聖神者、將由聖神而穫永生、

論及處女、我未奉主命、惟蒙主矜恤以為忠、則以己意示之、

我藉所賜之恩、語於爾曹、自度勿越乎所當度、宜循理而度、依上帝所賦各人之信量、

我若能言諸國諸天使之言而無愛、則猶鳴金響鈸、雖能預言、洞悉諸奧諸智、且篤信足以移山、若無愛、則我為烏有、雖罄所有以施濟、又舍身被焚、若無愛、則於我無益、

但我所行者、終必行之、以絕機於尋機者、使其所誇無異於我、若輩乃偽使徒、行事詭譎、貌為基督使徒、原無足怪、蓋撒但亦貌為光明之使、其役貌為義役、非大事也、其報必依其所行、○

若人自以為知則所當知者、尚未知也、

即念夫聖先知往昔之言、及主救者藉爾之使徒所命、

有自譽者、我不敢與之匹、與之較、其人自相度、自相較、不智也、

儻來者別宣一耶穌、非我所宣者、或爾別受一靈、非昔所受者、或別承一福音、非昔所承者、爾容之可也、

兄弟乎、我猶有言、因主耶穌、求爾勸爾、依爾素受於我者、當如何行而悅上帝、既行之、則宜增益之、爾知我由主耶穌以何誡授爾、夫爾成聖戒淫、乃上帝之旨、欲爾各知以聖以尊、自安其室、毋縱慾、猶不識上帝之異邦人、勿踰閑、欺乃兄弟、凡如此者、主必報之、如我昔告爾而證之也、蓋上帝召我、非致污、乃成聖、故拒之者非拒人、乃拒賜聖神之上帝也、○

愛友乎、當憶我主耶穌基督使徒之預言、

聞上帝之言、知至上者之智慧、睹全能者之異象、身臥而目明者曰、
