What if a message from God comes to someone else who is sitting there? Then the one who is speaking should stop.

若旁边坐着的得了启示，那先说话的就当闭口不言。

And if a revelation comes to someone who is sitting down, the first speaker should stop.

If a revelation is made to another sitting there, let the first be silent.

But if someone is prophesying and another person receives a revelation from the Lord, the one who is speaking must stop.

But if something has been revealed to another person sitting there, the first prophet should be silent.

But if a revelation is made to another who is seated, then the first one is to keep silent.

But if anything is revealed to another who sits by, let the first keep silent.

But if a revelation be made to another sitting by, let the first keep silence.

If[ any thing] be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace.

And if someone sitting down receives a revelation, the person who is speaking should conclude.

But if a revelation is made to another sitting by, let the first keep silent.

“ Pay attention, Job! Listen to me! Be quiet so I can speak.If you have anything to say, answer me. Speak up. I want to help you be cleared of all charges.But if you don’t have anything to say, listen to me. Be quiet so I can teach you how to be wise.”

Don’t try to stop what the Holy Spirit is doing.Don’t treat prophecies as if they weren’t important.

I waited while you men spoke. I listened to your reasoning. While you were searching for words,

Brothers and sisters, what should we say then? When you come together, each of you brings something. You bring a hymn or a teaching or a message from God. You bring a message in another language or explain what was said in that language. Everything must be done to build up the church.

“ Job, these men are afraid. They don’t have anything else to say. They’ve run out of words.Do I have to keep on waiting, now that they are silent? They are just standing there with nothing to say.I too have something to say. I too will tell what I know.I’m full of words. My spirit inside me forces me to speak.Inside I’m like wine that is bottled up. I’m like new wineskins ready to burst.I must speak so I can feel better. I must open my mouth and reply.

Brothers and sisters, suppose I were to come to you and speak in other languages. What good would I be to you? None! I would need to come with new truth or knowledge. Or I would need to come with a prophecy or a teaching.
