弟兄們，那麼卻怎麼樣呢？你們聚攏來的時候，各人或是有「詩篇」，或是有教訓，或是有啓示，或是有捲舌頭話，或是有解明：都要為建立而作。

弟兄們，那麼該怎麼辦呢？你們聚集的時候，各人或有詩歌，或有教導，或有啟示，或有殊言，或有翻譯出來的話語——一切都要為了造就人。

兄弟乎、是當若何、爾既集、或歌詩、或施教、或述啟示、或言方言、或譯方言、皆宜為建德而行、

兄弟乎、事當若何、爾既集、各人或頌詩、或教訓、或言諸國方言、或默示、或譯諸國方言、皆宜行之以輔德、

兄弟乎、事當若何、爾曹既集、各人或歌頌、或教訓、

然則兄弟究應如何？爾等聚會時、各有貢獻、或以聖詠、或以教理、或以啟示、或以方言、或以繙譯；總之、亦在己立立人、己達達人而已矣。

What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. Everything must be done so that the church may be built up.

Brothers and sisters, what should we say then? When you come together, each of you brings something. You bring a hymn or a teaching or a message from God. You bring a message in another language or explain what was said in that language. Everything must be done to build up the church.

What then, brothers? When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up.

Well, my brothers and sisters, let’s summarize. When you meet together, one will sing, another will teach, another will tell some special revelation God has given, one will speak in tongues, and another will interpret what is said. But everything that is done must strengthen all of you.

What then, brothers and sisters? Whenever you come together, each one has a hymn, a teaching, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Everything is to be done for building up.

What is the outcome then, brothers and sisters? When you assemble, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. All things are to be done for edification.

How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.

What is it then, brethren? When ye come together, each one hath a psalm, hath a teaching, hath a revelation, hath a tongue, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.

用诗篇、圣诗、属灵的诗歌彼此对说，从你们的心里，歌颂赞美主；

这样看来，我们要追求和睦的事和彼此造就的事。

不过圣灵显明在每个人的身上，是为了共同的益处，因为：有人藉着圣灵被赐予了智慧的话语，又有人藉着同一位圣灵被赐予了知识的话语，另有人藉着同一位圣灵被赐予了信仰，又有人藉着这独一的圣灵被赐予了使人痊愈的恩赐，又有人被赐予了大能的功用，又有人被赐予了做先知传道的恩赐，又有人被赐予了对不同灵的分辨力，另有人被赐予了各种殊言，又有人被赐予了翻译殊言的恩赐。

因此，你们要彼此鼓励，互相造就，就像你们现在所做的那样。

本于他，全身藉着每一个关节的支持，照着每一个部分适当的功用，互相连接，结合在一起，使身体渐渐成长，以致在爱中建立自己。

为此，我不在你们那里的时候写了这些事，好让我来到的时候，不必用主所赐给我的权柄严厉地对待你们。这权柄是为了造就人，并不是为了拆毁人。

你们一直以为我们是在向你们申辩吗？我们是在基督里，在神面前说话。各位蒙爱的人哪，这一切都是为了造就你们。

你们也是这样：既然你们对属灵的事是热心人，就应当追求造就教会的事，好让你们能丰足有余。所以，说殊言的人应当祷告，好让自己能翻译出来。

然而，一切事都要行得端正，并且要按着秩序行。

任何坏话都不可出口，而是按着需要说造就人的好话，使听的人得到益处。

如果有人说殊言，就应该只有两个人，或最多三个人，而且要轮流说，也要有一个人翻译。

为了要装备圣徒去做服事的工作，以建立基督的身体；

那说殊言的是造就自己，但那做先知传道的是造就教会。我虽然希望你们都说殊言，但更希望你们都做先知传道。因为，除非说殊言的能把殊言翻译出来使教会得到造就，否则那做先知传道的就比说殊言的更大了。所以弟兄们，就算我现在到你们那里去，用殊言说话，但如果不用启示、知识、预言、或教导来对你们说话，那么我对你们有什么益处呢？
