若皆預言、有不信者、或蚩氓入、則為眾所責、為眾所擬、

如眾設教、有不信者、及蚩氓入焉、遂因以自責、因以自評、

若皆為先知講道、有不信者、或無識者入、則覺為眾所責、為眾所議、

若同人共作預言、即來一不信或無術之人、亦將為爾眾所感化為爾眾所詰究、

But if an unbeliever or an inquirer comes in while everyone is prophesying, they are convicted of sin and are brought under judgment by all,

But suppose unbelievers or visitors come in while everyone is prophesying. Then they will feel guilty about their sin. They will be judged by all.

For the word of God is living and effective and sharper than any double-edged sword, penetrating as far as the separation of soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It is able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.No creature is hidden from him, but all things are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give an account.

The spiritual person, however, can evaluate everything, and yet he himself cannot be evaluated by anyone.

When they heard this, they were pierced to the heart and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles,“ Brothers, what should we do?”

Then Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said about him,“ Here truly is an Israelite in whom there is no deceit.”“ How do you know me?” Nathanael asked.“ Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you,” Jesus answered.“ Rabbi,” Nathanael replied,“ You are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel!”

“ Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?”
