說：「我實在告訴你們，你們若不回轉，變成小孩子的樣式，斷不得進天國。

你們卻要在我們主－救主耶穌基督的恩典和知識上有長進。願榮耀歸給他，從今直到永遠。阿們！

那時，耶穌說：「父啊，天地的主，我感謝你！因為你將這些事向聰明通達人就藏起來，向嬰孩就顯出來。

我所禱告的，就是要你們的愛心在知識和各樣見識上多而又多，

弟兄們，我從前對你們說話，不能把你們當作屬靈的，只得把你們當作屬肉體，在基督裏為嬰孩的。我是用奶餵你們，沒有用飯餵你們。那時你們不能吃，就是如今還是不能。

使我們不再作小孩子，中了人的詭計和欺騙的法術，被一切異教之風搖動，飄來飄去，就隨從各樣的異端；惟用愛心說誠實話，凡事長進，連於元首基督，

所以我們中間，凡是完全人總要存這樣的心；若在甚麼事上存別樣的心，神也必以此指示你們。

所以，我們應當離開基督道理的開端，竭力進到完全的地步，不必再立根基，就如那懊悔死行、信靠神、各樣洗禮、按手之禮、死人復活，以及永遠審判各等教訓。神若許我們，我們必如此行。

看你們學習的工夫，本該作師傅，誰知還得有人將神聖言小學的開端另教導你們，並且成了那必須吃奶、不能吃乾糧的人。凡只能吃奶的都不熟練仁義的道理，因為他是嬰孩；

我比我的師傅更通達，因我思想你的法度。

我實在告訴你們，凡要承受神國的，若不像小孩子，斷不能進去。」
