弟兄们，你们在思想上不要作小孩子，却要在恶事上作婴孩，在思想上作成年人。

Brothers and sisters, stop thinking like children. In regard to evil be infants, but in your thinking be adults.

你们的顺服已经名闻各处，所以我为你们高兴。我愿你们在善事上有智慧，在恶事上毫不沾染。

然而在信心成熟的人中间，我们也讲智慧，但不是这世代的智慧，也不是这世代将要灭亡的执政者的智慧。

“我实在告诉你们，如果你们不回转，变成像小孩子一样，一定不能进天国。

你们却要在我们的主、救主耶稣基督的恩典和知识上长进。愿荣耀归给他，从现在直到永远。阿们。

就在那时候，耶稣说：“父啊，天地的主，我赞美你，因为你把这些事向智慧和聪明的人隐藏起来，却向婴孩显明。

我所祷告的，是要你们的爱心，在充足的知识和各样的见识上，多而又多，

弟兄们，我从前对你们说话，还不能把你们看作属灵的人，只能看作属肉体的人，看作在基督里的婴孩。我喂给你们吃的是奶，不是饭，因为那时你们不能吃，就是现在还是不能，

使我们不再作小孩子，中了人的诡计和骗人的手段，给异教之风摇撼，飘来飘去，却要在爱中过诚实的生活，在各方面长进，达到基督的身量。他是教会的头，

所以，我们中间凡是成熟的人，都应当这样思想。即使你们不是这样思想，神也会把这事指示你们。

所以，我们应当离开基督初步的道理，努力进到成熟的地步，不必在懊悔致死的行为，信靠神，洗礼，按手礼，死人复活，和永远审判的教训上再立根基。

到这个时候，你们应该已经作老师了；可是你们还需要有人再把神道理的初步教导你们。你们成了只能吃奶而不能吃干粮的人！凡是吃奶的，还是个婴孩，对公义的道理没有经历；

我比我所有的老师明智，因为我默想你的法度。

我实在告诉你们，凡是不像小孩子一样接受神的国的，绝对不能进去。”

耶和华啊！我的心不骄傲，我的眼不自高；重大和超过我能力的事，我都不敢作。（本节在《马索拉文本》包括细字标题）我的心平静安稳，像断过奶的孩子躺在他母亲的怀中，我的心在我里面真像断过奶的孩子。

他必以敬畏耶和华为乐。他不凭眼睛所见的施行审判，也不凭耳朵所听的断定是非；

他回答：“造物者从起初‘造人的时候，就造男造女’。‘因此人要离开父母，与妻子连合，二人成为一体。’这些话你们没有念过吗？
