Pray at all times in the Spirit with every prayer and request, and stay alert with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints.

So don’t be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.And don’t get drunk with wine, which leads to reckless living, but be filled by the Spirit:speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making music with your heart to the Lord,giving thanks always for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

But you, dear friends, as you build yourselves up in your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,

Therefore, brothers and sisters, in view of the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true worship.Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.

Sing a song of wisdom, for God is King of the whole earth.

yet in the church I would rather speak five words with my understanding, in order to teach others also, than ten thousand words in a tongue.

What am I saying then? That food sacrificed to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything?

But if our unrighteousness highlights God’s righteousness, what are we to say? I am using a human argument: Is God unrighteous to inflict wrath?

What does it matter? Only that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is proclaimed, and in this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice

What, then, are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
