If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don’t have love, I have become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal.

我若能说万人的方言，并天使的话语，却没有爱，我就成了鸣的锣，响的钹一般。

我若能說人間的方言，甚至天使的語言，卻沒有愛，我就成為鳴的鑼、響的鈸一般。

即使我能說人類和天使的各種語言，如果沒有愛，我不過像咣咣作響的鑼和鈸。

我若能說世人和天使的方言，卻沒有愛，我就成了鳴的鑼、響的鈸一樣。

假使我用人之捲舌頭說話、甚至於用天使的語言來說話，卻沒有愛，我就成了鳴的鑼響的鈸一般。

如果我能說人間和天使的各種殊言，卻沒有愛，我就成了嘈雜的鑼、鳴響的鈸；

我若能言諸國諸天使之言而無愛、則猶鳴金響鈸、

我如能言諸國方言、與天使之言、而無仁、則猶鳴金敲鈸、

我雖能言世人及天使之言、若無愛、則如鳴鉦響鈸、

使我無愛德、而徒能操萬國之音、作天神之語、則猶鳴鑼擊鈸而已矣。

If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.

Suppose I speak in the languages of human beings or of angels. If I don’t have love, I am only a loud gong or a noisy cymbal.

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

If I speak human or angelic tongues but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

If I speak with the tongues of mankind and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.

but the goal of this command is love, out of a pure heart and a good conscience and sincere faith,

And above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,

If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don’t have love, I am nothing.If I give away all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but don’t have love, it profits me nothing.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will be done away with. Where there are various languages, they will cease. Where there is knowledge, it will be done away with.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision amounts to anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.

Now concerning things sacrificed to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.

But now, brothers, if I come to you speaking with other languages, what would I profit you, unless I speak to you either by way of revelation, or of knowledge, or of prophesying, or of teaching?Even things without life, giving a voice, whether pipe or harp, if they didn’t give a distinction in the sounds, how would it be known what is piped or harped?For if the trumpet gave an uncertain sound, who would prepare himself for war?

For, uttering great swelling words of emptiness, they entice in the lusts of the flesh, by licentiousness, those who are indeed escaping from those who live in error;

“ Then he will answer them, saying,‘ Most certainly I tell you, because you didn’t do it to one of the least of these, you didn’t do it to me.’

Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all miracle workers?Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with various languages? Do all interpret?

For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;

Yet if because of food your brother is grieved, you walk no longer in love. Don’t destroy with your food him for whom Christ died.

how he was caught up into Paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

If the ear would say,“ Because I’m not the eye, I’m not part of the body,” it’s not therefore not part of the body.
