神在教會所設立的：第一是使徒；第二是先知；第三是教師；其次是行異能的；再次是醫病的恩賜，幫助人的，治理事的，說方言的。

有人藉着聖靈領受智慧的言語；有人也靠着同一位聖靈領受知識的言語；又有人由同一位聖靈領受信心；還有人由同一位聖靈領受醫病的恩賜；又有人能行異能，又有人能作先知，又有人能辨別諸靈，又有人能說方言，又有人能翻方言。這一切都是由惟一的、同一位聖靈所運行，隨着自己的旨意分給各人的。

神又按自己的旨意，更用神蹟奇事、百般的異能，和聖靈所給的恩賜，與他們一同作見證。

正如我們一個身子上有好些肢體，肢體也不都有一樣的用處。這樣，我們許多人在基督裏是一個身體，互相聯絡作肢體。按着所得的恩典，我們各有不同的恩賜：或說預言，要按着信心的程度說預言；

人人要照自己所得的恩賜彼此服事，作神各種恩賜的好管家。

身體只有一個，聖靈只有一位，正如你們蒙召，是為同有一個指望而蒙召，一主，一信，一洗，一神－就是萬人之父，超越萬有之上，貫通萬有，在萬有之中。

他所賜的有使徒，有先知，有傳福音的，有牧者和教師，
