能聽的耳，能看的眼，二者都為耶和華所造。

眼睛不能對手說：「我用不着你。」頭也不能對腳說：「我用不着你。」

難道個個都是使徒嗎？難道個個都是先知嗎？難道個個都是教師嗎？難道個個都是行異能的嗎？

我的肺腑是你所造的，我在母腹中，你已編織我。我要稱謝你，因我受造奇妙可畏，你的作為奇妙，這是我心深知道的。我在暗中受造，在地的深處被塑造；那時，我的形體並不向你隱藏。我未成形的體質，你的眼早已看見了；你所定的日子，我尚未度一日，都在你的冊子寫上了。

從前以色列中，若有人去求問神，就這麼說：「來，我們到先見那裏去吧！」因現在的先知，從前稱為先見。

造耳朵的，難道自己聽不見嗎？造眼睛的，難道自己看不見嗎？
