更或賦以異能、或以預言、或辨諸神、或言方言、或譯方言、

有人得行異能、有人得言未來之事、有人得辨神之真偽、有人得言方言、方言或作神言除十四章十節方言之外下同有人得解方言、

或行靈蹟、或作預言、或識別神之真偽、或操方言、或譯方言；

to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.

To others he gives the power to do miracles. To others he gives the ability to prophesy. To others he gives the ability to tell the spirits apart. To others he gives the ability to speak in different kinds of languages they had not known before. And to still others he gives the ability to explain what was said in those languages.

He gives someone else the ability to discern whether a message is from the Spirit of God or from another spirit. 信者則有異蹟從之、即托我名逐鬼、言各國方言、

兄弟宜慕設教、莫禁言諸國方言、

有言感於聖神者、良朋勿信、當試之其真由上帝出否、蓋在世多偽先知云、

夫以聖神賜爾、行異能於爾中者、其恃法而行之乎、亦信主而行之耳、

上帝立人於教會、一使徒、二先知、三教師、繼以異能、醫術、與佐事者、治理者、言諸國方言者、眾豈使徒、先知、教師乎、眾豈有異能醫術乎、眾豈能言諸國方言乎、眾豈能譯方言乎、

兄弟乎、事當若何、爾既集、各人或頌詩、或教訓、或言諸國方言、或默示、或譯諸國方言、皆宜行之以輔德、如有言諸國方言、第二三人依次而言、一人譯之、若無人譯之、則言諸國方言者、宜緘默於會中、第以心籲上帝、可也、設教者亦二三人、餘則別其所言真偽、

我將以父所許者賜爾、宜居耶路撒冷城、待自上錫爾以權焉、○

當求仁、而慕神賜、最要者惟設教、人感於神、以言奧妙、而所言者、諸國方言、則聽者不知、蓋非與人言、乃與上帝言、設教者、是與人言、輔德、勸勉、安慰者也、言諸國方言者益己、設教者益會、吾願爾眾、言諸國方言、最要者設教、蓋設教、較之言諸國方言為大、如言諸國方言、則當自譯、使會獲益、

末日、我將以我神賦萬人、俾爾子女、言未來事、幼者見異象、老者兆於夢、

全會既集、如眾言諸國方言、有蚩氓及不信者入焉、豈不謂爾狂乎、如眾設教、有不信者、及蚩氓入焉、遂因以自責、因以自評、

然則設教者、當秩然有序、致眾學道、致眾安慰、設教者雖由神賜、而語默由己、

我如能言諸國方言、與天使之言、而無仁、則猶鳴金敲鈸、雖能先知、探奧、識理、且篤信得以移山、而無仁、則無益、

門徒往四方傳道主相之、以異蹟徵其道、

厥後大闢復有言詞、備詳如左。雅各之上帝所沐以膏、升之為高、在以色列族中為善歌者、耶西之子大闢曰、耶和華之神感我而言、我口所宣、即其詞也。

上帝曰、末日、我將以我神賦萬人、俾爾子女言未來事、幼者觀異象、老者兆於夢、當日、我將以我神賦我僕婢、使之言未來事、

爾當知經預言、非人所能也、以古預言、原非臆說、乃上帝聖人、感於聖神而言之、

真理之神至、將導爾悉知真理、彼非自擅而言、乃以所聞者言之、亦以未來之事示爾、

設教者勿藐視之、

上帝自行其志、俾為異跡奇事妙用、賜以聖神、共證斯道、

我知爾所為、勤勞忍難、為惡者弗包容、非使徒而冒稱者、爾已試之、知其妄言、

蓋聞其言諸國方言、稱上帝為大也、彼得曰、此人既受聖神、如我儕然、以水施洗、孰能禦之、

保羅按手、聖神臨之、得言諸國方言、及未來事、

有處子四人、能言未來事、居數日、有先知名亞伽布、來自猶太、

掃羅登山、見眾先知、為上帝之神所感、遂在先知中感神而言。素識掃羅者、見其如是、則相語曰、基士之子掃羅、其何所遇而在先知中乎。斯處之人問曰、孰為其師。厥後有諺曰、掃羅豈亦在先知中乎。掃羅感神而言、既畢其事、則至崇邱。

彼得曰、亞拿尼亞胡為撒但惑爾心、潛藏售田數金、以欺聖神耶、

兄弟乎、容我明言、先祖大闢、死而葬、至今境內、其墓猶存、既為先知、即知上帝曾有誓言、由大闢裔、挺生基督以居其位、

我誠告爾、凡信我、則我所行、彼將行之、即大於斯者、亦將行之、以我歸父也、

藉所賦之恩得異賜、或預言、則依信而預言、

惟仁無隕、但言未來事之能將廢、言諸國方言之才將止、知識亦廢、

耶和華乘雲降臨、與摩西言、以感摩西之神賦於長老、神既賦之、則感神而言、厥後不能常若此。所錄者中有二人、一名利達、一名米達、仍居於營、不適會幕、神既賦之、則在營中、感神而言。有童趨告摩西曰、利達米達在營中、感神而言。嫩之子約書亞尚幼、為摩西從者、曰、請主禁之。摩西曰、豈緣我故有所嫉乎。願耶和華悉賦億兆以神、使之感神而言。

掃羅遣人執大闢、使者見眾先知、為撒母耳所治理、俱感神而言、乃亦為上帝之神所感而言。或告掃羅、又遣使者、亦感神而言、三遣皆若是。掃羅親往拉馬、至西古大井、問撒母耳大闢安在。或曰、在拉馬之拿約。掃羅既至、亦為上帝之神所感、且行且言、迨至拉馬之拿約。乃解衣裸裎、永晝永夕、仆於撒母耳前、感神而言、後有諺曰、掃羅豈在先知中乎。

中有一人名亞伽布、感於聖神、言天下將大饑、至革老丟該撒時、果有之、

惟聖神臨時、爾則有才、且為我作證於耶路撒冷、舉猶太、撒馬利亞、以至地極、

眾感聖神、克言各國方言、即聖神所傳授者、時有敬虔之猶太人、自天下諸國而來、寓耶路撒冷、此聲一作、眾集聽、門徒依眾人方言而語、則駭、驚奇相告曰、言者非加利利人乎、乃聞其語、竟為我各人所生之方言、何也、此間、有怕提亞人、米太人、以攔人、居米所波大米、猶太、伽帕多家、本都、亞西亞、弗呂家、旁非利亞、埃及、濱古利奈之呂彼亞、諸方人、來自羅馬之旅人、或猶太、或進教者、又有革哩底亞喇伯人、咸聽以我方言、述上帝大用焉、於是眾奇之、猶豫相問曰、此何意耶、
