If we were properly judging ourselves, we would not be judged,

我们若是先分辨自己，就不至于受审。

我们若是先省察自己，就不至于受审判。

如果我们先自我省察，就不会遭受审判了。

我们若仔细省察自己，就不会受审判了。

但如果我们省察自己，就不会受惩罚；

我們若是先分辨自己，就不至於受審。

如果我們先自我省察，就不會遭受審判了。

我們若仔細省察自己，就不會受審判了。

但我們如果常察辨自己，就不至於受審判了。

但如果我們省察自己，就不會受懲罰；

若我儕自審、則不受鞫、

苟能自審、奚至定罪、

我儕若自審、則不被審、

吾人當初若能善自檢點、則亦何至如此受罪。

But if we were more discerning with regard to ourselves, we would not come under such judgment.

We should think more carefully about what we are doing. Then we would not be found guilty for this.

But if we judged ourselves truly, we would not be judged.

But if we would examine ourselves, we would not be judged by God in this way.

But if we judged ourselves rightly, we would not be judged.

For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged.

But if we discerned ourselves, we should not be judged.

If we were properly evaluating ourselves, we would not be judged,

For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

But if we examined ourselves, we would not be judged.

For if we discerned ourselves, we wouldn’t be judged.

When I kept silent, my bones became brittle from my groaning all day long.For day and night your hand was heavy on me; my strength was drained as in the summer’s heat. SelahThen I acknowledged my sin to you and did not conceal my iniquity. I said,“ I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,” and you forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah

Remember then how far you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. Otherwise, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.

Be alert and strengthen what remains, which is about to die, for I have not found your works complete before my God.Remember, then, what you have received and heard; keep it, and repent. If you are not alert, I will come like a thief, and you have no idea at what hour I will come upon you.

Let a person examine himself; in this way let him eat the bread and drink from the cup.

I’ll get up, go to my father, and say to him,“ Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight.I’m no longer worthy to be called your son. I have surely heard Ephraim moaning,“ You disciplined me, and I have been disciplined like an untrained calf. Take me back, so that I can return, for you, LORD, are my God.After my return, I felt regret; After I was instructed, I struck my thigh in grief. I was ashamed and humiliated because I bore the disgrace of my youth.”Isn’t Ephraim a precious son to me, a delightful child? Whenever I speak against him, I certainly still think about him. Therefore, my inner being yearns for him; I will truly have compassion on him. This is the LORD’s declaration.
