務必正心誠意、深自反省、然後可食斯餅、而領斯爵。

Everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup.

Everyone should take a careful look at themselves before they eat the bread and drink from the cup.

Let’s examine and probe our ways, and turn back to the LORD.

Now, the LORD of Armies says this:“ Think carefully about your ways:

So if you are offering your gift on the altar, and there you remember that your brother or sister has something against you,leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled with your brother or sister, and then come and offer your gift.

“ Ask all the people of the land and the priests: When you fasted and lamented in the fifth and in the seventh months for these seventy years, did you really fast for me?When you eat and drink, don’t you eat and drink simply for yourselves?Aren’t these the words that the LORD proclaimed through the earlier prophets when Jerusalem was inhabited and secure, along with its surrounding cities, and when the southern region and the Judean foothills were inhabited?”

The LORD of Armies says this:“ Think carefully about your ways.

“ Tell the Israelites: When any one of you or your descendants is unclean because of a corpse or is on a distant journey, he may still observe the Passover to the LORD.Such people are to observe it in the second month, on the fourteenth day at twilight. They are to eat the animal with unleavened bread and bitter herbs;they may not leave any of it until morning or break any of its bones. They must observe the Passover according to all its statutes.“ But the man who is ceremonially clean, is not on a journey, and yet fails to observe the Passover is to be cut off from his people, because he did not present the LORD’s offering at its appointed time. That man will bear the consequences of his sin.

If we were properly judging ourselves, we would not be judged,

whenever our hearts condemn us; for God is greater than our hearts, and he knows all things.Dear friends, if our hearts don’t condemn us, we have confidence before God
