I passed on to you what I received from the Lord. On the night the Lord Jesus was handed over to his enemies, he took bread.

For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread,

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying,“ Take it; this is my body.”Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, and they all drank from it.“ This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many,” he said to them.

For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,

For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread,and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said,“ This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.”In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying,“ This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.”

For you know what instructions we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus.

Paul, an apostle— sent not from men nor by a man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead—

and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

“ Truly I tell you,” Jesus answered,“ this very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.”

See, I have taught you decrees and laws as the Lord my God commanded me, so that you may follow them in the land you are entering to take possession of it.

On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Paul spoke to the people and, because he intended to leave the next day, kept on talking until midnight.

“ As you know, the Passover is two days away— and the Son of Man will be handed over to be crucified.”

I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel I preached is not of human origin.I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.

On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked,“ Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?”
