我稱讚你們，因為你們凡事記得我，又堅守我所傳授給你們的。

爾等事事以予為懷、且能遵守予之教訓、誠可嘉也；

I praise you for remembering me in everything and for holding to the traditions just as I passed them on to you.

I praise you for being faithful in remembering me. I also praise you for staying true to the teachings of the past. You have stayed true to them, just as I gave them to you.

Now I commend you because you remember me in everything and maintain the traditions even as I delivered them to you.

I am so glad that you always keep me in your thoughts, and that you are following the teachings I passed on to you.

所以，弟兄們，你們要站立得穩，凡所領受的教導，無論是我們口傳的，是信上寫的，都要堅守。

因此，我已差提摩太到你們那裏去。他在主裏面是我親愛和忠心的兒子；他要提醒你們，我在基督耶穌裏怎樣行事為人，在各處各教會中怎樣教導人。

我現在吩咐你們這話不是在稱讚你們，因為你們聚會是有損無益的。

難道你們沒有家可以吃喝嗎？還是你們藐視上帝的教會，使那沒有的羞愧呢？我該對你們說甚麼呢？我要稱讚你們嗎？在這事上我絕不稱讚你們！

你們若能夠持守我傳給你們的信息，就必因這福音得救，否則你們是徒然相信。

弟兄們，我們奉主耶穌基督的名吩咐你們，凡有弟兄懶散，不遵守我們所傳授的教導，要遠離他。

末了，弟兄們，我們靠着主耶穌求你們，勸你們，既然你們領受了我們的教導，知道該怎樣行事為人，討上帝的喜悅，其實你們也正這樣行，我勸你們要更加努力。你們原知道，我們憑主耶穌傳給你們甚麼命令。

他們兩人在上帝面前都是義人，遵行主的一切誡命和條例，沒有可指責的。

她的兒女起來稱她有福，她的丈夫也稱讚她：「才德的女子很多，惟獨你超過一切。」魅力是虛假的，美貌是虛浮的；惟敬畏耶和華的婦女必得稱讚。她手中的成果你們要賞給她，願她的工作在城門口榮耀她。

無論如何，要照主所分給各人的恩賜和上帝所召各人的情況生活。我在各教會裏都是這樣規定的。

但是，提摩太剛從你們那裏回來，將你們信心和愛心的好消息報給我們，又說你們常常記念我們，切切想見我們，如同我們想見你們一樣。
