我称赞你们，因为你们凡事记得我，又坚守我所传授给你们的。

爾等事事以予為懷、且能遵守予之教訓、誠可嘉也；

I praise you for remembering me in everything and for holding to the traditions just as I passed them on to you.

I praise you for being faithful in remembering me. I also praise you for staying true to the teachings of the past. You have stayed true to them, just as I gave them to you.

Now I commend you because you remember me in everything and maintain the traditions even as I delivered them to you.

I am so glad that you always keep me in your thoughts, and that you are following the teachings I passed on to you.

所以，弟兄们，你们要站立得稳，凡所领受的教导，无论是我们口传的，是信上写的，都要坚守。

因此，我已差提摩太到你们那里去。他在主里面是我亲爱和忠心的儿子；他要提醒你们，我在基督耶稣里怎样行事为人，在各处各教会中怎样教导人。

我现在吩咐你们这话不是在称赞你们，因为你们聚会是有损无益的。

难道你们没有家可以吃喝吗？还是你们藐视神的教会，使那没有的羞愧呢？我该对你们说什么呢？我要称赞你们吗？在这事上我绝不称赞你们！

你们若能够持守我传给你们的信息，就必因这福音得救，否则你们是徒然相信。

弟兄们，我们奉主耶稣基督的名吩咐你们，凡有弟兄懒散，不遵守我们所传授的教导，要远离他。

末了，弟兄们，我们靠着主耶稣求你们，劝你们，既然你们领受了我们的教导，知道该怎样行事为人，讨神的喜悦，其实你们也正这样行，我劝你们要更加努力。你们原知道，我们凭主耶稣传给你们什么命令。

他们两人在神面前都是义人，遵行主的一切诫命和条例，没有可指责的。

她的儿女起来称她有福，她的丈夫也称赞她：“才德的女子很多，惟独你超过一切。”魅力是虚假的，美貌是虚浮的；惟敬畏耶和华的妇女必得称赞。她手中的成果你们要赏给她，愿她的工作在城门口荣耀她。

无论如何，要照主所分给各人的恩赐和神所召各人的情况生活。我在各教会里都是这样规定的。

但是，提摩太刚从你们那里回来，将你们信心和爱心的好消息报给我们，又说你们常常记念我们，切切想见我们，如同我们想见你们一样。
