Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered[ them] to you.

I praise you for remembering me in everything and for holding to the traditions just as I passed them on to you.

Now in this that I declare[ unto you] I praise[ you] not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.

What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise[ you] not.

By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort[ you] by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God,[ so] ye would abound more and more.For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.

And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband[ also], and he praiseth her.Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.Favour[ is] deceitful, and beauty[ is] vain:[ but] a woman[ that] feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches.

But now when Timotheus came from you unto us, and brought us good tidings of your faith and charity, and that ye have good remembrance of us always, desiring greatly to see us, as we also[ to see] you:
