我稱讚你們，因為你們在一切事上都記念我，又持守我傳交給你們的教訓。

爾等事事以予為懷、且能遵守予之教訓、誠可嘉也；

I praise you for remembering me in everything and for holding to the traditions just as I passed them on to you.

I praise you for being faithful in remembering me. I also praise you for staying true to the teachings of the past. You have stayed true to them, just as I gave them to you.

Now I commend you because you remember me in everything and maintain the traditions even as I delivered them to you.

I am so glad that you always keep me in your thoughts, and that you are following the teachings I passed on to you.

所以弟兄們，你們要站立得穩；你們所領受的教訓，無論是我們口傳的，或是信上寫的，都要持守。

因此，我打發提摩太到你們那裡去。他是我在主裡親愛又忠心的兒子，他要提醒你們我在基督裡是怎樣行事為人，正如我在各處教會中所教導的一樣。

我現在要吩咐你們，不是要稱讚你們，因為你們聚集在一起，並沒有得到益處，反而有害處。

難道你們沒有家可以吃喝嗎？還是你們藐視神的教會，使那些沒有的羞愧呢？我向你們可以說甚麼呢？稱讚你們嗎？在這事上我不能稱讚。

你們若持守我所傳給你們的道，就必靠這福音得救，不然就是徒然相信了。

弟兄們，我們奉主耶穌基督的名吩咐你們，凡是游手好閒的弟兄，不按著你們從我們所領受的教訓去行，就應當遠離他。

此外，弟兄們，我們在主耶穌裡求你們，勸你們，你們既然接受了我們的教訓，知道應該怎樣行事為人，並且怎樣討神喜悅，就要照你們現在所行的更進一步。我們憑著主耶穌傳給你們的是甚麼命令，你們是知道的。

他們在神面前都是義人，遵行主的一切誡命規條，無可指摘，

她的兒女都起來稱她是有福的，她的丈夫也稱讚她，說：“有才德的女子很多，但你比她們更超卓。”艷麗是虛假的，美容是虛浮的；唯有敬畏耶和華的婦女，必得稱讚。願她享受自己手所作的成果；願她的工作在城門口使她受稱讚。

不過，主怎樣分給各人，神怎樣呼召各人，各人就要照著去行事為人。我也這樣吩咐各教會。

提摩太剛剛從你們那裡回來，把你們信心和愛心的好消息帶給我們。他還說，你們常常懷念我們，切切想見我們，好像我們想見你們一樣。
