我现在要吩咐你们，不是要称赞你们，因为你们聚集在一起，并没有得到益处，反而有害处。

或是君王所派赏善罚恶的官员；

难道你们没有家可以吃喝吗？还是你们藐视神的教会，使那些没有的羞愧呢？我向你们可以说什么呢？称赞你们吗？在这事上我不能称赞。

所以，如果全教会聚在一起的时候，大家都说方言，有不明白的人或未信的人进来，不是要说你们疯了吗？

“你不可心里恨你的兄弟；应坦诚责备你的邻舍，免得你因他担当罪过。

我们不可放弃聚会，好像有些人的习惯一样；却要互相劝勉。你们既然知道那日子临近，就更应该这样。

你们怎可偷盗、凶杀、奸淫、起假誓、向巴力烧香，跟从你们素不认识的别神，然后来到这称为我名下的殿，站在我面前，说：‘我们安全啦！’你们这样就可以行这一切可憎的事吗？

你要张开喉咙呼叫，不可停止；你要提高声音，像吹号角一样；你要向我子民宣告他们的过犯，向雅各家陈明他们的罪恶。他们天天寻求我，乐意明白我的道路，好像行义的国民，不离弃他们神的公理；他们向我求问公义的判语，又喜欢亲近神。他们说：“为什么我们禁食，你不看呢？为什么我们刻苦己身，你不理会呢？”看哪！你们在禁食的日子，仍然追求自己喜欢作的事，欺压为你们作工的人。看哪！你们禁食，结果是吵闹和打架，用凶恶的拳头打人；你们不要像今天这样的禁食，使你们的声音可以听闻于天上。

如果有人饿了，就应当在家里先吃，免得你们聚集在一起的时候受到审判。其余的事，我来的时候再作安排。

弟兄们，那么应该怎么办呢？你们聚集在一起的时候，各人或有诗歌，或有教训，或有启示，或有方言，或有翻译出来的话，一切都应该能造就人。

我称赞你们，因为你们在一切事上都记念我，又持守我传交给你们的教训。

坦白的责备，胜过暗中的爱。

你们聚集在一起，不是吃主的晚餐，

不要再带没有意义的供物来了，烧献祭物的香气也是我厌恶的。我厌烦月朔、安息日和集会；作罪孽又守严肃会，是我不能容忍的。你们的月朔和制定的节期，我心里恨恶；它们都成了我的重担，我已承担得不耐烦了。

执政的不是要使行善的惧怕，而是要使作恶的惧怕。你想不怕掌权的吗？只要行善，就会得到称赞；
