現在我有話要吩咐你們，不是稱讚你們，因為你們聚會不但無益，反而有害。

還是被君王派來賞善罰惡的官員。

難道你們不可以在家裡吃喝嗎？還是你們輕看上帝的教會，存心羞辱那些貧窮的弟兄姊妹呢？我該說什麼呢？稱讚你們嗎？不可能！

所以，如果你們在聚會中，全體信徒都說方言，偶然有不懂方言的人或非信徒進來，他們豈不會說你們全都瘋了嗎？

對同胞不可心中懷恨。同胞有錯，要當面指正，免得自己因他而擔罪。

不要停止聚會，像那些停止慣了的人，要互相鼓勵，特別是你們知道主再來的日子近了。

你們偷盜、謀殺、通姦、起假誓、向巴力獻祭、拜素不認識的神明，然後來到這用來敬拜我的殿，站在我面前說自己安全了，以為可以繼續做可憎之事。

「你要高聲呼喊，不要停止；要放聲高呼，像響亮的號角。要向我的子民宣告他們的過犯，向雅各家宣告他們的罪惡。他們天天尋求我，好像渴慕認識我的律法，儼然像沒有丟棄他們上帝法令的正義之邦。他們向我求公義的判決，似乎渴慕到我面前。他們說，『我們禁食，你為什麼不看呢？我們刻苦己身，你為什麼不理睬呢？』我說，『看啊，禁食之日你們仍然隨心所欲，壓榨你們的工人。你們一面禁食，一面爭鬧打鬥，彼此惡拳相向。不要指望這樣的禁食會使你們的禱告在天上蒙垂聽。

如果有人饑餓，可以在家中先吃，免得你們聚會的時候自招審判。至於其餘的事，等我到了以後再安排。

那麼，弟兄姊妹，你們該怎麼做呢？你們聚會的時候，不管是唱詩、教導、講啟示、說方言或翻譯方言，都應該是為了造就人。

我讚賞你們，因為你們凡事都想到我，並堅守我傳給你們的各種教導。

開誠佈公的責備勝過隱藏的愛。

你們聚會的時候，不是在吃主的晚餐。

不要再帶毫無意義的祭物了。我憎惡你們燒的香，厭惡你們的朔日、安息日和大會。你們又作惡又舉行莊嚴的聚會，令我無法容忍。我憎惡你們的朔日及其他節期，它們成了我的重擔，令我厭倦。

掌權者不是叫行善的懼怕，而是叫作惡的懼怕。你想不怕掌權的嗎？就要行得正，這樣你會得到稱讚。
