So don’t worship statues of gods, as some of them did. It is written,“ The people sat down to eat and drink. Then they got up to dance wildly in front of their god.”( Exodus 32:6)

次日清早，百姓起来献燔祭和平安祭，就坐下吃喝，起来玩耍。耶和华吩咐摩西说：“下去吧，因为你的百姓，就是你从埃及地领出来的，已经败坏了。他们快快偏离了我所吩咐的道，为自己铸了一只牛犊，向它下拜献祭，说：‘以色列啊，这就是领你出埃及地的神。’”

他们在何烈山造了牛犊，叩拜铸成的像。如此将他们荣耀的主换为吃草之牛的像，

对我说：‘你起来，赶快下去！因为你从埃及领出来的百姓已经败坏了自己；他们快快地偏离了我所吩咐的道，为自己铸成了偶像。’

你们岂不知不义的人不能承受神的国吗？不要自欺！无论是淫乱的、拜偶像的、奸淫的、作娈童的、亲男色的、

但如今我写信给你们说，若有称为弟兄是行淫乱的，或贪婪的，或拜偶像的，或辱骂的，或醉酒的，或勒索的，这样的人不可与他相交，就是与他吃饭都不可。

我一看见你们得罪了耶和华你们的神，铸成了牛犊，快快地偏离了耶和华所吩咐你们的道，我就把那两块版从我手中扔下去，在你们眼前摔碎了。因你们所犯的一切罪，行了耶和华眼中看为恶的事，惹他发怒，我就像从前俯伏在耶和华面前四十昼夜，没有吃饭，也没有喝水。我因耶和华向你们大发烈怒，要灭绝你们，就甚害怕；但那次耶和华又应允了我。耶和华也向亚伦甚是发怒，要灭绝他；那时我又为亚伦祈祷。我把那叫你们犯罪所铸的牛犊用火焚烧，又捣碎磨得很细，以致细如灰尘，我就把这灰尘撒在从山上流下来的溪水中。

我所亲爱的弟兄啊，你们要逃避拜偶像的事。

约书亚一听见百姓呼喊的声音，就对摩西说：“在营里有争战的声音。”

亚伦从他们手里接过来，铸了一只牛犊，用雕刻的器具做成。他们就说：“以色列啊，这是领你出埃及地的神。”

摩西挨近营前就看见牛犊，又看见人跳舞，便发烈怒，把两块版扔在山下摔碎了，

弟兄们，在心志上不要作小孩子。然而，在恶事上要作婴孩，在心志上总要作大人。律法上记着：“主说：‘我要用外邦人的舌头和外邦人的嘴唇向这百姓说话；虽然如此，他们还是不听从我。’”这样看来，说方言不是为信的人作证据，乃是为不信的人；作先知讲道不是为不信的人作证据，乃是为信的人。

但人不都有这等知识。有人到如今因拜惯了偶像，就以为所吃的是祭偶像之物。他们的良心既然软弱，也就污秽了。
