你们也不可像他们中的有些人那样，成为拜偶像的，正如经上所记：“民众坐下吃喝，起来玩乐。”

Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written:“ The people sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in revelry.”

So don’t worship statues of gods, as some of them did. It is written,“ The people sat down to eat and drink. Then they got up to dance wildly in front of their god.”( Exodus 32:6)

or worship idols as some of them did. As the Scriptures say,“ The people celebrated with feasting and drinking, and they indulged in pagan revelry.”

他们在何烈山铸造牛犊，竟向一个铸像下拜，把他们荣耀的主替换为吃草之牛的样式。

难道你们不知道，不义的人不会继承神的国吗？不要被迷惑了！无论是淫乱的、拜偶像的、通奸的、做娈童的、同性恋的、

但如今我写给你们的是：如果有人被称为弟兄，却是淫乱的、或贪心的、或拜偶像的、或诽谤人的、或酗酒的、或勒索人的，你们不可与他交往，连与这样的人一起吃饭都不可。

所以，我亲爱的各位，你们要逃避拜偶像的事。

弟兄们，你们在思想上不要做小孩子，但是在恶事上要做婴孩，在思想上要做成熟的人。律法书上记着：“主说：‘我要藉着说别种语言的人，藉着别人的嘴唇对这子民说话。即使这样，他们也不会听我的。’”这样，说殊言不是给信的人做为标记，而是给不信的人；但做先知传道不是给不信的人做为标记，而是给信的人。

然而，不是所有的人都有这知识。有些人因习惯了偶像，至今还以为所吃的是祭过偶像的食物。他们的良心因为软弱，就被玷污了。
