共飲同一神水、蓋靈磐常與之偕、若輩得隨時就飲焉。靈磐者何、基督是已。

他在曠野使磐石裂開，給他們喝多如深淵的水。

他打開磐石，水就湧出，在那乾旱之地流淌如河；

但如果有人喝了我給他的水，就絕不乾渴，直到永遠。不但如此，我給他的水將要在他裡面成為泉源，一直湧流到永恆的生命。」

看哪，雖然他曾擊打磐石、使水湧出、溪流漫溢，難道他還能夠賜下糧食嗎？還能為自己的子民預備肉嗎？」

耶和華領他們走過荒漠的時候，他們並不口渴；他讓水從磐石為他們流出，他使磐石裂開，水就湧出。

節期的最後一天，也是最盛大的日子，耶穌站起來呼喊說：「如果有人渴了，就到我這裡來喝吧！

耶穌回答她，說：「如果你明白神的恩賜，也知道是誰對你說『給我一點水喝』，你早就求他了，他也把活水給你了。」

野地的禽獸中，連豺狗和鴕鳥也必尊崇我，因為我賜水給曠野，賜河流給荒漠——這是為了給我揀選的百姓水喝。

這些不過是將來之事的影子，而實體卻屬於基督。

聖靈和新娘都說：「來吧！」那聽見的人也當說：「來吧！」乾渴的人也當來；願意的人，當無償地接受生命之水。

在他們吃的時候，耶穌拿起餅來，祝福了，就掰開，遞給門徒們，說：「你們領受吃吧，這是我的身體。」接著，他拿起杯來，祝謝了，遞給他們，說：「你們都來喝，因為這是我的血，是為立約的，為許多人所流的，使罪得赦免。

既然律法帶有那將要來的美好事物的影子，它不是那些事物的本像，就絕不能藉著年年不斷地獻上同樣的祭物，使近前來的人得以完全。

祝謝了，就掰開，說：「這是我的身體，為了你們的緣故；你們應當如此行，為的是記念我。」晚餐後，他也照樣拿起杯來，說：「這杯是用我的血所立的新約。你們每逢喝的時候，應當如此行，為的是記念我。」

也把世人、田野的走獸、天空的飛鳥，無論住在哪裡，都交在你的手中，讓你統轄這一切；你就是那金的頭。

這夏甲是指著阿拉伯的西奈山，相當於現在的耶路撒冷，因為耶路撒冷和她的兒女都是為奴的。

田地是這世界，這些好種子就是天國的兒女，稗子是那惡者的兒女，撒稗子的仇敵是魔鬼，收割的季節是世代的終結，收割的人是天使。

約瑟對他說：「夢的解釋是這樣的：三根枝子就是三天。
