凡市場上所賣的，你們只管吃，不要為良心的緣故問甚麼，

你們要住在那家，吃喝他們所供給的，因為工人得工錢是應當的；不要從這家搬到那家。無論進哪一城，人若接待你們，給你們擺上甚麼食物，你們就吃甚麼。

我先前寫信告訴過你們，不可與淫亂的人交往。此話不是泛指這世上所有行淫亂的，或貪婪的，勒索的，或拜偶像的；若是這樣，你們非離開這世界不可。但現在，我寫信告訴你們，若有稱為弟兄的人卻仍犯淫亂，或貪婪，或拜偶像，或辱罵，或醉酒，或勒索，這樣的人不可跟他交往，就是跟他吃飯都不可以。

既然我們知道主是可畏的，就勸導人；但是神是認識我們的，我盼望你們的良心也認識我們。

把那肥牛犢牽來宰了，我們來吃喝慶祝；

利未在自己家裏為耶穌大擺宴席，有一大羣稅吏和別的人與他們一同坐席。法利賽人和文士就向耶穌的門徒發怨言說：「你們為甚麼跟稅吏和罪人一同吃喝呢？」

反而把那些暗昧可恥的事棄絕了，不行詭詐，不曲解神的道，只將真理顯揚出來，好在神面前把自己推薦給各人的良心。

眾人看見，都私下議論說：「他竟然到罪人家裏去住宿。」

我們現在寫給你們的話，無非是你們所能誦讀、所能明白的，我也盼望你們真能徹底明白。
