肉市上所賣的一切，你們都可以吃；不要為了良心的緣故而問什麼，

你們當住在那一家，吃喝他們所供給的，因為工人配得自己的酬報。不要從這家搬到那家。無論進哪一個城，如果人們接受你們，給你們擺上什麼，你們就吃什麼。

我以前在書信上給你們寫過：不可與淫亂的人交往。我當然不是指這世上淫亂的、或貪心的、或勒索人的、或拜偶像的，否則，你們就必須離開這個世界了。但如今我寫給你們的是：如果有人被稱為弟兄，卻是淫亂的、或貪心的、或拜偶像的、或誹謗人的、或酗酒的、或勒索人的，你們不可與他交往，連與這樣的人一起吃飯都不可。

既然如此，我們因為知道敬畏主，就勸導人。我們在神面前是顯明的，但我希望在你們的良心裡，也是顯明的。

把那隻養肥的牛犢牽來宰殺了，讓我們吃喝、慶祝吧！

利未在自己家裡為耶穌預備盛大的宴席，有一大群稅吏和其他人與他們一同坐席。法利賽人和他們的經文士就向耶穌的門徒們抱怨，說：「你們為什麼與那些稅吏和罪人一起吃喝呢？」

相反，把那些可恥的隱祕之事棄絕了；不以詭詐行事，也不歪曲神的話語；反而藉著顯明真理，在神面前把自己推薦給每個人的良心。

大家看見，就抱怨說：「他竟然到一個罪人家裡去借宿。」

其實我們寫給你們的，無非是你們能讀、能了解的，而且我希望你們能徹底地了解，
